Norwegian alt-pop artist girl in red has dominated airwaves with her smash hit Serotonin’, and in February 2023 she will be bringing her debut and triple j feature album if I could make it go quiet to Australia for the first time, playing her largest headline shows to date in Sydney and Melbourne.

Known to her friends as Marie Ulven, the queer artist will be heading to Australia off the back of massive sets at Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Coachella, where Billie Eilish surprised her on stage with a Spelleman Award for Album of the Year, and sold-out headline shows at the famed Pier 17 in New York and 02 Academy Brixton.

Ulven released her debut album if i could make it go quiet in 2021, to world-wide critical acclaim from fans and critics alike, including celebrity supporters Taylor Swift and Camilla Cabello, with tastemakers including Rolling Stone, NPR, Stereogum, NYLON, and more proclaiming it a “Best of 2021” album.

Since her last Australian show in 2019 girl in red has amassed over 1.85 billion career streams and has quickly proven herself as a young talent on the rise.
