Peaches announces her first Australian and New Zealand shows since 2017

Feminist icon and pop provocateur Peaches returns down under with an additional leg of The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour after a string of wildly successful, sold-out shows across North America, Europe and the UK. A celebration of the 20th anniversary of Peaches’ seminal The Teaches of Peaches, she will be performing the album in its entirety across Australia and New Zealand. At her live performances, Peaches turns the stage into her personal playground. With outrageous costuming and provocative choreography, The Guardian calls her shows a “joyous, gender-mashing cabaret” and “a dazzling mix of ingenuity and high drama.

Peaches says of the upcoming tour, “So incredibly happy to announce the continuation of The Teaches of Peaches Anniversary Tour into 2023! I can’t wait to celebrate, with you all, 20 years on and reimagine the power that is The Teaches of Peaches album live across Australia and New Zealand.  We’re ready for you down under!!!! Show us your map of Tassie cuz I’m about to give you everything I’ve got! It’s been a while! Let’s set it off!” Declared the “Godmother to “WAP”” by CBC, Peaches’ domination over pop culture cannot be understated, with her aesthetic providing the main influence for designer Anthony Vaccarello’s AW21 Saint Laurent collection, and her songs featured in iconic TV moments in Netflix’s Sex Education, Aisling Bea’s This Way Up, and Showtime’s critically-acclaimed Yellowjackets.

An emblematic feminist musician, producer, director, and performance artist, Peaches has spent more than two decades pushing boundaries and breaking barriers, dramatically altering the landscape of popular culture as she forged a bold, sexually progressive path that’s opened the doors for countless others to follow. Across artistic mediums, she has upended stereotypes and embraced taboos, challenging social norms and patriarchal power structures while championing LGBTQ+ rights and issues of gender and sexual identity with biting wit and fearless originality. Peaches is currently working on a brand-new album, with more details to come.

Rolling Stone cited the seminal platinum-selling 2001 album Iowa among “The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time, while The Ringer attested, “They’re the most important heavy band of their era.”  In addition to marking the group’s third consecutive #1 debut on the Billboard Top 200, their sixth full-length album, WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND, bowed at #1 in twelve countries worldwide in 2019. Ed Sheeran confirms special guests for summer stadium shows: Maisie Peters (UK) + Budjerah (AU)

With hundreds of thousand tickets already sold, Ed Sheeran’s upcoming stadium + – = ÷ x Tour (pronounced ‘The Mathematics Tour’) is shaping up to be one of the biggest live music events in Australian and New Zealand history!

Frontier Touring is today excited to announce that Sheeran will be joined by two incredible artists in February/March 2023 – one of the UK’s hottest rising talents, Maisie Peters, will perform at all shows, while joining the unforgettable run in AU only is ARIA Breakthrough Artist winner Budjerah.

Maisie Peters

One of the UK’s hottest rising talents, prodigious 21-year-old Maisie Peters has earned 845 million streams and counting to date worldwide, 37 million of those in Australia alone (her fifth largest streaming territory). In October 2022, she dropped single ‘Not Another Rockstar’ – her latest offering in a string of arresting hits. Signed to Sheeran’s Gingerbread Records label, Peters’ innate gift for storytelling has seen her earn millions of fans worldwide, including famous names such as Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers and Sam Smith. The West Sussex-born singer is currently working on the follow-up to her acclaimed UK #2 debut album, You Signed Up For This. Making her first ever visit to Australia and New Zealand for the tour – and performing seven intimate headline dates while down under – Peters recently completed 54 dates on Sheeran’s UK / EU run, with five more shows confirmed for North America in 2023.

Budjerah
Budjerah

Back in 2020, Australia was introduced to the spectacular voice of Budjerah: a new, homegrown kind of R&B star, who shot onto the scene with his debut single ‘Missing You’. Possessing song writing ingenuity and old-soul wisdom, the 20-year-old Coodjinburra singer is charging forward in 2022, armed with a new set of songs that show off his range and heart-wrenching voice. With a debut EP under his belt as well as an ARIA Breakthrough Artist award from 5x nominations (including Best Solo Artist, Best Australian Live Act and Best R&B/Soul Release), Budjerah has honed his skills performing alongside Vance Joy in the UK, Australia and North America, and sharing the stage with Thelma Plum, The Avalanches, and Lime Cordiale, not to mention a collaboration with PNAU. In May 2022, the musical visionary commenced his global assault, most notably featuring on a remix of Sheeran’s hit single ‘2Step’. His second EP Conversations continued the rise, while he just released a Harvey Sutherland remix of anthemic hit ‘Ready For The Sky’

“I can’t wait for this tour, it’s gonna be crazy! I’m super grateful for this opportunity, I never thought that I’d get to be a part of something like this. Thanks Ed Sheeran!” – Budjerah

With several shows already sold out, don’t miss Ed Sheeran’s Feb/Mar 2023 stadium tour – now with added Maisie Peters and Budjerah – tickets on sale now!

Mudhoney Announce Huge 2023 Australian Tour

Press Play Presents
MUDHONEY

Tickets on Sale now from pressplaypresents.com/artists/mudhoney

Seminal Seattle four-piece Mudhoney return to Australia in 2023, marking nine years since their last local shows in 2014. A mammoth odyssey spanning April and May will see them playing headline shows across six states, with a handful of festival dates among them.

Mudhoney have an enviable career spanning over three decades, thirteen studio albums, five live records, and endless headline shows around the globe. Their provocative debut single ‘Touch Me I’m Sick’ and 1992 hit Suck You Dry’ cemented them as pioneers of the late 80’s early 90’s grunge explosion, with their sound an instrumental foundation of the era.

The band have managed to find time to lay down tracks in the studio this year for their next opus due in 2023, which follows their 2019 EP “Morning in America” (“this is wilder, punkier and even funnier than last time around” – Clash), giving Australian fans the opportunity to hear all of the new and a bunch of the former favourites live.

Year after year, Mudhoney delivers contrarian, politically charged, anti-sentimental musings with their signature skuzz-rock rebellious, underground sound to wake you up, punch you in the gut and put a smile on your face with equal measure.

The Vamps (UK) ‘Greatest Hits Tour’ – Feb 2023

With over 6.5 billion streams worldwide and two billion plus YouTube channel views alone, Frontier Touring are pumped to welcome back to Australia, UK’s The Vamps on their Greatest Hits Tour!

“It’s crazy to think what started in our bedrooms and Tristan’s parent’s garage led to us headlining arena’s all around the world. The past 10 years have been an incredible journey but what makes it even more special is that it has felt like a shared one between us and our fans. The Vamps have taken us across all five continents and given us the privilege of playing in front of millions of people. These five albums are chapters in our lives and moments we are hugely proud of. This last year has been one of reflection for us and as four best friends who’ve had the chance to live out our dreams, we now can’t wait to celebrate these memories with all our awesome fans in Australia, they’ve always been so good to us.” – The Vamps

10 Years Of The Vamps – the Greatest Hits Tour will see The Vamps perform all the hits from across the decade that has made them become one of the most loved and celebrated pop bands in the UK and Australia. The 2023 Australian leg of the tour kicks off at the Tivoli Theatre, Brisbane on Wednesday 1 February before heading to the Enmore Theatre, Sydney on Friday 3 February and the Forum, Melbourne on Saturday 4 February.

Frontier Members presale commences Wednesday 2 November 10am AEDT before the General public on sale Thursday 3 November 10am AEDT.

The band have just released Ten Years Of The Vamps; a special edition fanzine produced as a collaboration between the band and the fans (released via Universal Music available now here). After an overwhelming response from the fans to a band shout out asking for their own personal Vamp’s memories, this collection is something personal between fan and band.

“What the hell happened last night? WELL, the team headed to the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney to check out The Vamps on their ‘Middle of the Night Tour’, and it was nothing short of amazing!!” – Don’t Bore Us/The Brag

From posting videos in 2012 on YouTube that brought the band together (see some of those early videos here and here) to multiple arena tours and UK number one albums… It’s been a whirlwind decade for The Vamps…

Having toured Australia in 2015, 2016 and 2017, the 2023 tour marks the band’s fourth run of Oz shows and couldn’t be more fitting that they return to celebrate their 10-year anniversary! The Vamps have generated over 6.5 billion streams worldwide (43 million streams in Australia) and have surpassed two billion views on the band’s official YouTube channel alone. They have released five studio albums, two UK #1’s 2017’s Night & Day (Night Edition) and their latest album (2020) Cherry Blossom and two UK #2’s 2014’s Meet the Vamps and 2018’s Night & Day (Day Edition).

With over 60 million monthly streams across all platforms, 10 years of The Vamps hits include, ‘Somebody To You’, ‘All Night’, ‘Better’, ‘Can We Dance’, ‘Would You’, ‘Middle Of The Night’, ‘Just My Type’, ‘Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart)’, ‘We Don’t Care’, ‘Another You’ and ‘Wild Heart’.

The Vamps have played global tours and festivals that has seen them play to over two million people, including being the first band to headline The O2 London for five consecutive years. They’ve performed in the US on chat shows like Ellen and Seth Myers and have collaborated with artists from Shawn Mendes to Sigala and Bruno Mars. They’ve also played and shared stages with Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay amongst others.

Don’t miss celebrating 10 Years of The Vamps on their Greatest Hits Tour of Australia in February 2023!

Architects announce Australian Tour for February 2023

Today, Architects release their new studio album the classic symptoms of a broken spirit on Epitaph Records. To celebrate the release, Architects have announced an Australian tour. Presented by Live Nation, Unify and Triple J, the tour will see the band hitting our shores in February 2023 for the first time since their ARIA No.1 album For Those That Wish To Exist. Be prepared, this will be one of THE rock shows of 2023. Full details below.

“We are honestly so excited to get back to one of our favourite places in the world. Australia always makes us feel like home and has given us some incredible memories and we can’t wait to get back out and make more!” – Sam Carter

the classic symptoms of a broken spirit is the bands 10th studio album and is the follow-up to last year’s critically acclaimed ARIA No.1 album For Those That Wish To Exist.  The band barely had time to celebrate success when they began the process of writing the songs that make up the new record.

Produced by Dan Searle and Josh Middleton, with additional production from Sam Carter at Deacon’s Middle Farm Studios and their own HQ, Electric Studios in Brighton. The band were buoyed by finally being back in the room together after their last album was made mostly remote due to COVID restrictions, the result was something altogether more “free, playful and spontaneous” the bands drummer and songwriter Dan explains. “This one feels more live, more exciting and more fun – it has that energy. We wanted it to be a lot more industrial and electronic,” agrees frontman Sam Carter.

Layers of electronic and industrial elements infuse the album with a blast of energy that sets the cinematic moodscape for the 11-track ride. There is more than a passing nod to the band’s post-rock influences as well as now familiar fist pumping anthems such as “when we were young”, “deep fake”, tear gas” and latest single “new moral low ground”.

Listen To the classic symptoms of a broken spirit

Architects is vocalist Sam Carter, drummer Dan Searle, bassist Ali Dean and guitarists Josh Middleton and Adam Christianson.
