With over 3.2million views, relive Fatboy Slim’s iconic ‘Live at Sidney Myer Music Bowl (Jan 2020)’, filmed by Mushroom Creative House.

‘Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, delivered an epic slab of electronic dance music in a DJ set that was either one two-hour track or 120-minute-long bops that careened into each other … We became thousands left standing in a field, heading off to eat, sleep or rave on.  It was a night I’d be happy to repeat’ – Sydney Morning Herald

‘Despite his mega stardom and intense stage presence Fatboy Slim is quite endearing…he has a goofy persona evident as he delved into his delightful musical scrapbook during his two-hour set … He’s proved he’s still at the top of his game.’ – The West Australian

About Fatboy Slim
Fatboy Slim, aka Norman Cook, entered the UK acid house scene in the ‘90s. Early success came with the release of hit singles ‘Everybody Needs a 303’ and ‘Going Out of My Head’, taken from Better Living Through Chemistry. Soon after came ‘The Rockafeller Skank’, a precursor for hit album You’ve Come A Long Way Baby, which delivered his first UK #1 in ‘Praise You’, as well as club banger ‘Right Here Right Now’, which peaked at #2. Halfway Between The Gutter And The Stars followed, featuring ‘Weapon of Choice’, with an unmissable video directed by Spike Jonze and starring Christopher Walken dancing in an empty hotel lobby. It’s widely regarded as one of the best music videos of all time, having won several awards, including a Grammy for Best Music Video.

Cook took things to another level again with the undeniably huge ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’, and more recently with massive singles like ‘Where U Iz’, ‘Boom F**king Boom’, ‘Praise You (Purple Disco Machine Extended Remix)’, Rita Ora ‘Praising You (feat. Fatboy Slim)’ and 2024’s ‘Role Model (feat.Dan Diamond and Luca Guerrieri)’, check out the official video here.

In 2022, Fatboy Slim released‘Right Here, Right Then’, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the infamous Big Beach Boutique (album out now via BMG Australia – here) and 2024’s Palookaville (Deluxe)

With 10 MTV VMAs, two Brit Awards and a Grammy, numerous high-profile Ibiza residencies, a Beats 1 Radio Show, a record 20 consecutive years playing at Glastonbury, and even a show on The Great Wall of China, it’s no surprise Fatboy Slim has a reputation as one of the most consistently popular DJs and producers on the planet. A party lover through and through, Cook is fuelled by the joy of his audience, which becomes a feedback loop of energy at every show that sends the vibe through the roof.

20 years after those historic, era-defining gatherings, Norman continues to push the envelope and remain one of the most in demand DJ’s and purveyor of quality beats in the world.

DUA LIPA 2025 ‘RADICAL OPTIMISM TOUR’ – SECOND SHOW NOW CONFIRMED FOR SYDNEY AND A THIRD MELBOURNE DATE ADDE D DUE TO INCREDIBLE DEMAND

3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa last week announced a global 2025 run on her Radical Optimism Tour including arena shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland in March/April 2025.

Due to phenomenal demand for tickets during the pre-sale period, a third show has now been confirmed in Melbourne, and a second Sydney show has also been added. Tickets for both shows will be available at 2pm local time today, Thursday, September 19 at dualipa.com. The general onsale begins Friday, September 20 at 1pm local time at dualipa.com.

Dua Lipa will perform in Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena Thursday 20, Saturday 22, and Sunday 23 March – followed by Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday 26 and Friday 28 March, before travelling to New Zealand for her show on Wednesday April 2 at Auckland’s Spark Arena.

The tour follows Dua’s highly anticipated debut on the Pyramid Stage as the Friday night headliner at the 2024 Glastonbury Festival earlier this summer. The BBC praised her performance, saying, “Dua hit every mark with the precision of someone who had been preparing for this moment for years.” Following her electric Glastonbury set, she immediately sold out two consecutive nights at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium set for June 2025. Dua has reached a new pinnacle in her career, with fan demand at an all-time high.

The Radical Optimism Tour will kick off with previously announced shows in Asia, including stops in Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and more before wrapping up on Thursday, December 5 in Seoul, Korea at Gocheok Sky Dome. The 2025 dates begin Thursday, March 20 in Melbourne, Australia at Rod Laver Arena, and include performances in Sydney, Auckland, Madrid, Hamburg, Paris, Amsterdam, London, Dublin, Toronto, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and many more before concluding in Seattle on Thursday, October 16 at Climate Pledge Arena. Prior to the tour kickoff in Asia, Dua will headline Austin City Limits in Austin, TX on October 5 and October 12.

The global tour supports Dua’s third studio album, Radical Optimism, which was released May 3, 2024 via Warner Records. The album went straight to No. 1 in 11 countries, including the UK where it became the biggest album debut from a UK artist in 2024 and garnered the highest week one sales from a UK female artist since 2021. In the US, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Dua’s biggest sales week yet. It was named a Critic’s Pick by The New York Times, who hailed it as “an album of nonstop ear candy,” along with Variety, who declared it is “a joyous blast of pop savvy.” Additionally, The New Yorker praised, “the instrumentation is a gleaming and impenetrable expanse, and the main attraction is Lipa,” and Vogue raved it is “a summery, self-assured slice of pop brilliance…[and] catchy as hell.”

About Dua Lipa

3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa continues to be one of pop music’s leading forces with the release of her third album, Radical Optimism. Upon release, the album went straight to No. 1 in 11 countries, including the UK where it became the biggest album debut from a UK female artist in 2024 and garnered the highest week one sales from a UK female artist since 2021. In the US, the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking Dua’s biggest sales week yet. The New York Times named it a Critic’s Pick and hailed it as “an album of nonstop ear candy,” along with Variety, who declared it “a joyous blast of pop savvy,” The New Yorker, who praised, “the instrumentation is a gleaming and impenetrable expanse, and the main attraction is Lipa,” and Vogue, who raved it is “a summary, self-assured slice of pop brilliance…[and] catchy as hell.”

Following its release in 2020, Dua’s certified platinum sophomore album Future Nostalgia became the longest running top 10 album by a female artist on the Billboard 200 in 2021. The GRAMMY Award-winning album spawned multiple worldwide hit singles, with “Levitating” earning certified diamond status and the title of Billboard’s No. 1 Hot 100 Song of 2021.

Dua has found superstar status on stage and off, thanks to her many passions outside of music. 2022 saw Dua launch Service95, a global style, culture and society editorial platform that now comprises a weekly newsletter, the Service95 book club and the Dua Lipa: At Your Service podcast, which has been lauded by The Sunday Times and The Guardian and was named one of the Best Podcasts of 2022 by Spotify. Having graced every major fashion magazine worldwide from Vogue and Elle to W and Dazed, Dua added “designer” to her resume in 2023 when she co-designed Versace’s “La Vacanza” collection alongside Donatella Versace herself, which Vogue deemed “the hottest collaboration of the summer.”

Dua’s eponymous 2017 debut album is certified platinum, spawned six platinum tracks, and made her the first female artist in BRIT Awards history to pick up five nominations in a single year. Dua has a total of 10 GRAMMY nominations, with three wins for Best Pop Vocal Album, Best New Artist and Best Dance Recording. Additionally, she earned nominations at the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards for her hit song “Dance The Night” from the box office sensation Barbie. Across platforms globally, she has amassed over 45 billion streams and holds the record for being the first female artist to have two albums with over 10 billion streams each on Spotify.
