Second Single Including Music Video “Last Goodbye” Out Now!

Extreme metal supergroup Sinsaenum now offers a second taste of their upcoming studio album “In Devastation”, with the release of their crushing new single, “Last Goodbye,.

This Album marks the band’s first new material since the tragic passing of legendary drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot, Murderdolls) in 2021. Both the singles and album serve as a cathartic tribute to Jordison and to guitarist and founder Frédéric Leclercq’s (Kreator, Ex-Dragonforce) late father, whose deaths profoundly shaped the emotional and creative direction of the project.

The new single “Last Goodbye” among other Songs, showcases the band’s musical and emotional evolution, from raw aggression to haunting reflection. Leclercq describes the latter as “the most personal we’ve done”.
“I was devastated, hence the title of this album,” Leclercq explains. “But we knew we had to carry on. This record is our tribute to my father, to Joey, and to anyone who’s ever had to find strength in their darkest moments.”
“In Devastation” is a ten-track tour de force of blackened death metal infused with Sinsaenum’s signature melodic ferocity and experimental edge. Produced and mixed by acclaimed German audio engineer Lasse Lammert, the album explores new sonic territory for the band, blending intricate progressive elements, clean vocals, and even cello—without ever compromising their brutal core.
Joining Leclercq on this latest chapter are returning members Attila Csihar (Mayhem), Sean Zatorsky (Dååth), Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast), and Heimoth (Seth). Stepping in behind the kit is Andre Joyzi, formerly Jordison’s tech and a trusted member of the band’s touring family—chosen not only for his skills, but for the emotional connection he brings to continuing Jordison’s legacy.
Following the critically acclaimed Echoes of “the Tortured” (2016) and Repulsion for “Humanity” (2018), In Devastation cements Sinsaenum’s place at the vanguard of modern metal—a band forged in grief but fueled by defiance.

MALEVOLENCE Release Music Video For New Single ‘So Help Me God’ + New Album WHERE ONLY THE TRUTH IS SPOKEN Out Now

MALEVOLENCE Release Music Video For New Single ‘So Help Me God’ +
New Album WHERE ONLY THE TRUTH IS SPOKEN Out Now

Fresh from their secret set at last weekend’s DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL, Steel City Kings MALEVOLENCE have released a new single from their massively anticipated new album, ‘Where Only The Truth Is Spoken’, which is out today via MLVLTD in partnership with Nuclear Blast Records.

The video comes in response to a takedown of their previous single ‘Salt The Wound’, which was forcibly removed from Nuclear Blast’s YouTube channel after The National Trust threatened legal action.

“Apparently pretending to play the guitar for a couple of hours on a public path that thousands of tourists walk up every single day is a criminal offence worth pursuing, said the band in a statement.

“The video is a celebration of where we come from and we’re proud of what we made. Fortunately… Someone has anonymously uploaded a version back to YouTube they continued.

New single ‘So Help Me God’ sees the band safely performing within the walls of the historic Abbeydale Picture House cinema in Sheffield.

“This song is one of the most personal songs I’ve ever written. This song is a raw exploration of my own resentment, and unresolved anger” comments frontman ALEX TAYLOR.

“For the video, we wanted to match the tone of the song and have a raw performance driven video full of energy and aggression.”

The band surprised revellers at DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL on Sunday, after days of speculation around this year’s secret act. During a stunning set in a packed out AVALANCHE stage, guitarist Konan Hall unveiled his brand new guitar – a one of a kind collaboration between Jackson® Guitars and Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft® (more details below)

About Jackson x Malevolence x World of Warcraft collab:

Jackson® Guitars and Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft® unveiled a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Konan Hall, guitarist of UK metal titans Malevolence and WoW fan live on stage at Download Festival, 2025.

Malevolence took centre stage for the Secret Set on Avalanche Stage on Sunday afternoon at 2.50pm, where Kon donned a custom Jackson Pro Plus XT Limited Edition Kelly™ KE HT6 Baritone guitar, inspired by Kon’s in-game character —a Dwarf Paladin, named Thraiin. Crafted with meticulous detail and true to the spirit of Azeroth, the guitar merges Jackson’s iconic metal craftsmanship with the rich lore of World of Warcraft. Designed in close collaboration with Kon and World of Warcraft’s creative team, the body features bespoke artwork of Thraiin and the legendary “W” emblem, while the headstock boasts the Jackson logo and the background is inspired by the lands of Azeroth. Additionally, on the back of the guitar sits an Easter egg, inspired by Kon’s favourite weapon type in game, The Battle Axe.

The Pro Plus XT Limited Edition Kelly KE HT6 Baritone model is an extension of the Pro Plus Series. Features include Nyatoh body with three-piece Maple thru-neck construction and graphite reinforced for superior stability, six-string baritone 27”-scale, 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard with cloaked Sharkfins, 24 stainless steel frets, Luminlay side-dots, Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient pickups combine for full-throated power that ranges from great overdrive sustain, distinctive fat and chunky rhythms to smooth lead tones that pack a muscular growl and slice through the densest mix.

“World of Warcraft and music are two of my favourite things’’, said Kon. “Playing with the Jackson guitar on stage will remind me of the hours I spent in the taverns of Azeroth.”

The guitar will make various appearances throughout the year at Malevolence shows. For assets and more details check:

ABOUT MALEVOLENCE

MALEVOLENCE have never waited for permission. From the underground to festival main stages, they’ve built their reputation on sheer force of will, crushing live shows, and an unshakable foundation of heavy riffs and harder work. Now, with their fourth studio album Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, Sheffield’s finest step into a new league.

Recorded in California at Dave Grohl’s legendary Studio 606, the album was tracked through the iconic Neve 8078 console, the same desk that captured game-changing records like Nirvana’s Nevermind, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, and Tom Petty’s Wildflowers. For a band that’s always pushed forward without compromise, it was the perfect setting to carve out a record that represents everything MALEVOLENCE stands for. The album marks a new level of songwriting precision without sacrificing the band’s trademark weight. Working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira, Trivium), the result is MALEVOLENCE at their most punishing, urgent, and anthemic.

Lyrically, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken reflects the principles that MALEVOLENCE have lived by since day one—honesty, loyalty, and integrity. These are not just themes woven into the album but values the band holds in their personal and professional lives. This record doesn’t deal in facades or empty gestures; it’s an unfiltered expression of the struggles, victories, and unshakable brotherhood that have carried them this far.

Malevolence are:

Konan Hall | Guitar / Vocals
Josh Baines | Guitar

Gig ReviewsReviews

[Review] Andrea Krakovska @ Gasworks Theatre, Melbourne, 17/05/2025

So, I get a call from Hendo:
“You keen to see some chick swing from the ceiling and shred guitar while hanging upside down?”
It’s Saturday night. My plans involved getting comfortably stoned, yelling at the footy, and possibly burning whatever was left in the fridge. So I said, “Yeah, why the fkn not.”

Truth be told, I’d never been to Gasworks Arts Park, had no idea who Andrea Krakovská was, and didn’t expect much beyond an interesting night out. But I’m always up for weird and wonderful, so I headed into Port Melbourne with an open mind, a decent jacket, and zero expectations.

Rolling into the venue, I grabbed a tinnie and scoped the place out. The Gasworks Hub has a certain feel—tight-knit, a bit artsy, definitely intimate. You get the sense it’s a “if you know, you know” kinda joint. The kind of place where you don’t want to let one rip mid-show because you will get side-eyed by a flautist or a lighting tech. The stage was close, the vibe casual but curious. Everyone was settling in for something… different.

First up was Tanya George, rolling out a one-woman symphony using vocal looping, keyboard wizardry, and more pedalboard magic than I’ve seen outside a guitar shop. Now, looping can sometimes feel like the same trick in a different hat—but Tanya brought something unique. Her voice cut through the space with clarity and confidence, and while the tech side didn’t grab me at first, I quickly found myself nodding along, engaged and impressed. She wasn’t just playing with sound—she was sculpting it. A strong opener.

Then, in what felt like a blink, Charli Meath took the stage. Or rather, the air above it. This was next-level bendy business. Think Cirque du Soleil but stripped back, raw, and all muscle. Five minutes of defying gravity, contorting mid-air like a human ribbon, and the crowd was hooked. She didn’t overstay her welcome—it was short, sharp, and left everyone wanting more. The kind of act that makes you realise you’ve been holding your breath the whole time.

And then: the main event. Andrea Krakovská.
Or as I now refer to her: AK Superstar.

From the first note, you knew this wasn’t going to be your average gig. This was a full-body experience—one that walloped your ears, rattled your bones, and maybe even stirred your soul a little.

Andrea commands the stage like she was born on it. She doesn’t just perform—she owns every inch of the floor, air, and soundwaves around her. And she’s backed by a powerhouse crew of musicians who aren’t just playing—they’re possessed by the music.

Let’s talk about Renee on drums. I’ve got a soft spot for a killer drummer, and Renee absolutely punished that kit—with purpose, power, and precision. It was like being hit in the chest with perfect rhythm. Metronome city, population: Renee.

Emma on guitar? Ridiculously smooth. The kind of playing that makes you go, “Yeah, I’m not worthy.” She played with such finesse and command that at one point I was pretty sure I slid off my chair. Could’ve been the intermission joint. Could’ve been her string work. Either way, I was floored.

And then there’s Scott on bass, weaving in and around the groove like it owed him money. Fat, clean tones that hugged the room. Seriously, the mix at this show was next-level. Everything sat where it should. You could hear every note, every kick, every little fill. Whoever was behind that desk deserves a medal and a fresh slab.

But let’s circle back to Andrea.

Shredding? Check. Vocals? Check. Aerial stunt work WHILE playing a guitar solo? Checkmate.
There she was, suspended upside down, spinning like a rock ‘n’ roll cyclone, absolutely nailing her solo. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I’d call bullshit. But there she was—flawless, fierce, and flying.

And just when you think it can’t get any wilder, the band launches into a metal mashup that includes Iron Maiden, and the room erupts. The energy hit eleven. There was a beat of silence after the final chord, and in the heat of the moment I found myself yelling:
“That was fkn sick!”
Because it bloody well was.

No gimmicks. No fluff. Just a whole lot of talent, spectacle, and a band so tight they could stop time if they wanted.

If you ever get the chance to see Andrea Krakovská and her crew live, do not hesitate. Whether you’re a music nerd, a theatre fan, or just someone who likes seeing humans do unbelievable things with their bodies and instruments, this show delivers. It’s raw. It’s wild. It’s unforgettable.

IHLO Return With Their Ambitious Second Album Legacy

Set For Release On 29 August via Kscope

First Single ‘Empire’ Out Now

Five years in the making, Ihlo’s new album Legacy marks a major step forward for the British outfit, capturing their growth from rising newcomers to a confident force in the UK modern prog scene.

Written collaboratively by band members Andy Robison, Phil Monro, and Clark McMenemyLegacy is a fascinating and worthy successor to 2019’s Union – an acclaimed debut that topped Bandcamp’s Progressive Metal chart and won Ihlo praise across the prog world.

Ihlo have now released ‘Empire’, the first single from the new album.

“Empire was the song that really kickstarted the album writing process and helped guide us towards the finished product. Underneath the deceptively bouncy rhythms and uplifting harmonies, there hides a dark and brooding atmosphere that became integral to the feel of the entire record. This track showcases the shift into a more natural sound for the band, while retaining the attention to detail in every single element, and the modern production quality we love. Our first studio output in 6 years, this track contains a little bit of everything you want in an Ihlo song, and we’re so excited to finally be able to show it off to the world!” – Ihlo

Watch the video, produced by Andy Robison here

Recorded in part at The Arch Studios in Southport – a stunning space housed within a 140-year-old restored church – Legacy benefits from the studio’s breathtaking acoustics, which lend the drums an organic immediacy.

The album presents ten new tracks that drift between shimmering ambience and tightly wound rhythmic propulsion. Where Union hinted at Ihlo’s influences, Legacy speaks in their own voice.

Lyrically, the album casts a wary eye on the near-future – one in which technological advancement feels increasingly hollow, its progress governed by profit rather than purpose.

Ihlo’s New Album Legacy Will Be Released On Dark Green Vinyl 2LP, Black Vinyl 2LP, CD and Digitally.

ALL TIME LOW – MULTI-PLATINUM ROCKERS RETURN WITH ANTHEMIC NEW SINGLE SUCKERPUNCH

Multi-platinum Maryland quartet All Time Low – Alex GaskarthJack BarakatRian Dawson and Zack Merrick — known for their anthemic, inimitable sound and fiercely loyal fanbase, embark on a bold new era with the release of SUCKERPUNCH, out now via their own imprint, Basement Noise Records, in partnership with Photo Finish Records/Virgin Music Group. Sonically all arena-rock bombast and lyrically sentimental, SUCKERPUNCH — co-produced by frontman Gaskarth alongside Dan Swank — signals a thrilling new chapter for the rock outfit, who have sold more than 3.5 million albums in the U.S. alone and have garnered over 5 billion streams worldwide to date.

“SUCKERPUNCH is a song about getting knocked down so many times that you learn to wear your bruises like badges,” Gaskarth says. “The music and tone of the song are so intentionally steeped in overconfident swagger, while the lyrics tell a very different story about stepping into the ring with an opponent twice your size, waiting for the bell to ring with a smile on your face.  It’s saying ‘I have been so many different things for you, why not be your punching bag as well?’ I wanted to marry the grit and punch of an arena rock song with moments of Quincy Jones and Genesis… That culminated in a song that felt like kicking the door down, so we knew this had to come out first.”

All Time Low have additionally released the official music video for SUCKERPUNCH which, like the song itself, is both electrifying and sentimental. The video made its broadcast premiere on MTV LiveMTVUMTV Biggest Pop and on the Paramount Times Square billboards and centres on “Axel,” a legendary stuntman who looks back at the most death-defying stunt of his career.

All Time Low head out on tour starting this October for a just-announced US headline run. Produced by Live Nation, their EVERYONE’S TALKING! TOUR will kick off on October 4, 2025 in Missoula, Montana with support from special guests Mayday ParadeThe CabFour Year Strong, and The Paradox across select cities. The 30-plus-date outing includes appearances at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre (Oct 12), When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas (Oct 18 + 19) and Warped Tour in Orlando (Nov 16).

It’s been a momentous era for All Time Low: in addition to working on new music, the band celebrated its 20th anniversary last year with the release of The Forever Sessions Vol. 1 album via their own imprint – Basement Noise Records – launched  in partnership with Photo Finish Records/Virgin Music Group. The new LP featured re-recordings of the band’s greatest hits from the early part of their career including Dear Maria, Count Me In (ATL’s Version).

Since their inception in 2003, All Time Low have shattered records, topped charts, sold out arenas and carved out a fervent fanbase along the way. Their catalog consists of five consecutive Top 10 albums on the Billboard Top 200 in addition to picking up multi-platinum, platinum, and gold certifications. Speaking to their impact, Rolling Stone named So Wrong, It’s Right, among its “50 Greatest Pop Punk Albums.” In 2020, they ascended to a new commercial and critical high watermark with their eighth full-length LP, Wake Up, Sunshine. Following a #1 debut on the Top Rock Albums chart, it spawned the biggest hit of the band’s career thus far, Monsters [feat. blackbear]. It clinched #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay Chart for an unprecedented 18 weeks, emerging as the longest-charting song ever at the Modern Rock format. In addition to going platinum, it notably garnered “Alternative Rock Song of the Year” at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, while superstar Demi Lovato teamed up with the group for the Official Remix.

The band also captivated audiences with explosive sets at Bonnaroo and Firefly, along with unforgettable appearances on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Ellen, Good Morning America, and more.

After replacing MICHAEL SCHENKER in 1973, SCORPIONS released four studio albums during ULI’s tenure as lead guitarist, main songwriter and occasional lead singer between 1974 and 1977. These albums include “Fly To The Rainbow“, “In Trance“, “Virgin Killer“, “Taken By Force” as well as their Gold selling double live album, “Tokyo Tapes“, in 1978. These albums are all heralded in the history of Rock and Metal, with “Tokyo Tapes” being touted as one of the greatest live albums of all time.

Since his time in SCORPIONS, Uli has had a very colourful career, with most of the 1980’s filled up with his band ELECTRIC SUN, followed by a long line of varied projects – from G3 at Wembley Arena with JOE SATRIANI, MICHAEL SCHENKER and BRIAN MAY, to composing four symphonies, two concertos and performing with symphony orchestras throughout Europe. Let’s not forget June 2007 in Germany, when Roth joined THE SMASHING PUMPKINS on-stage for their epic closing song “Gossamer.” He made another appearance with the Pumpkins upon their return to Germany on 26 February 2008, and a short documentary was made called “Corgan und Uli Jon Roth”.

Don’t miss out on this rare occasion to experience ULI JON ROTH performing such classics as “In Trance“, “We’ll Burn The Sky“, “Fly To The Rainbow“, “The Sails Of Charon“, “Pictured Life“, “Catch Your Train“, and many, many more.

Come along and see why guitar heroes such as KIRK HAMMETT (METALLICA), MARTY FRIEDMAN (MEGADETH), YNGWIE MALMSTEEN and a long list of others, cite ULI as one of their major influences. A guitar player’s dream set!!!
