DUNE RATS + FIDLAR AUSTRALIAN TOUR

IT’S ON!

TEAM UP FOR A TRANSPACIFIC MATEFEST AUSTRALIAN TOUR – AUGUST / SEPTEMBER

Presented by triple j

Fan Presale from 9am (local) on Thursday 20 June

General Public on sale from 9am (local) Friday 21 June

While playing the UK together last year, DUNE RATS and FIDLAR found themselves sitting backstage drinking warm ales, talking about releasing their new albums (more on that below), and how much they wanted to keep the party rolling! Thankfully for Aussie fans, those chats have become a reality!

“The FIDLAR / DUNIES relationship has honestly been a touring brotherhood that has seen us ping pong all over the world. It’s been the best part of a decade playing shows together that started when they first came to Australia doing venues half the size of the ones we are playing on this tour. Showing them the Aussie diet of beer and BBQ’s plus a bit of surfing and partying meant that when we wanted to tour the US, they bundled us into a van and spent 3 months seeing the States – from Gator Back scratchers in Florida to the bright lights of New York City. We went to the UK last year to play shows together and that’s where this tour came to fruition. Can’t wait to show them how crazy it is to play in Australia this time round, will definitely fit a few snags in too” – DUNE RATS

“The Dunies are like your favorite cousin that you only get to see every couple of years. You’ve known them forever, you like them more than some of your other cousins, you crack each other up, get into trouble, have a few heart to hearts even….when we get together…it’s like a psycho little family reunion!!! Truly kindred Ledge Lords!”FIDLAR

So, fire up Australia! Brace yourself for the ultimate transpacific matefest hitting our golden shores this August and September. DUNE RATS and FIDLAR are teaming up once again for a tour that promises to be nothing short of epic! This time around the venues will be bigger, the crowds will be wilder, and the vibes will no doubt be off the hook!

Tickets will be in hot demand, so fans are urged to register at dunerats.tv for pre-sale access. The fan pre-sale will commence at 9am local time on Thursday 20th June with general onsale 9am local time on Friday 21st June.

While you’re at it, pre-order a copy of Dunies upcoming 5th album ‘If It Sucks, Turn It Up’, the band’s most adventurous musical statement yet. The album features the singles ‘Be Like You’, ‘Solar Eyes’ and current tune – ‘Cheapskate’.

And you’d be mad not to pre-save the new FIDLARalbum ‘SURVIVING THE DREAM’ which will release on September 20th!
