Multi-platinum, three-time Grammy award-winning artist Olivia Rodrigo announced her first-ever run of shows in Asia and Australia, adding 9 international dates to her highly celebrated GUTS world tour. Rodrigo also teased on social media, “Stay tuned, Manila!”

The GUTS world tour kicked off on February 23, 2024 in Greater Palm Springs, CA to rave reviews. Rolling Stone observed, “Rodrigo cemented her position in pop culture as a generation-defining artist. And as an energy-filled idol that is only just beginning her career.” The Los Angeles Times praised the “thrilling tour opener” while Variety noted, “It’s a rock ‘n’ roll show, by the way — maybe the best rock tour we’ll get all year, even if the season is young.”

Olivia’s tour supports her second studio album, GUTS, which was released September 8 via Geffen Records to critical acclaim, landing her six GRAMMY-award nominations including Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Critical Acclaim for the GUTS world tour:

“This was true of her performance as well, which brought the perfection and order of musical theater to the pop-punk and piano balladry that her songs toggle between.” – The New York Times

“Rodrigo is a natural at commanding an arena stage, and that’s no small feat, considering it’s her first time doing it.” – Miami New Times

“Rodrigo strutted around the U-shaped stage with the confidence of a pop pro, complete with her standout vocals that didn’t waver throughout the full hour-and-a-half performance.” – Billboard

“It’s a rock ‘n’ roll show, by the way — maybe the best rock tour we’ll get all year, even if the season is young.” – Variety

“Olivia Rodrigo is the fastest-rising rock ‘n’ roll sensation of her generation” – Arizona Republic

About Olivia Rodrigo

After shattering records with her chart-topping, 4x Platinum debut album SOUR – the fastest album in history to have all of its songs certified RIAA Platinum or higher – Olivia Rodrigo made a monumental return with her sophomore album GUTS, revealing newly heightened sophistication as a vocalist and lyricist. Produced by and co-written with Daniel Nigro (her main creative partner on SOUR), each song intensifies the emotional honesty that’s always imbued her work, leading The New York Times to hail her as “a songwriter of rather astonishing purity.”

Praised as an “instant classic” by Rolling Stone, GUTS debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, coinciding with lead single “vampire” returning to the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and Rodrigo’s No. 1 ranking on the Artist 100, thereby giving her a chart triple. Rodrigo is the first female artist in nearly a decade to debut her first two albums atop the Billboard 200 and the youngest artist in Hot 100 history to debut three hits at No. 1 (“vampire” and SOUR’s “drivers license” and “good 4 u”). GUTS’ remaining 11 tracks charted in the top 40 of the Hot 100. GUTS topped the album charts in over 13 countries, including the UK.

The album, which appeared on more than 30 Best of 2023 lists, including The New York Times, Rolling Stone, NPR and Pitchfork, received GRAMMY® nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album while “vampire” received three nods andballad of a homeschooled girl” was nominated for Best Rock Song. Before the year ended, Rodrigo achieved another career milestone with the release of her first contribution to a film soundtrack: “Can’t Catch Me Now” from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Music From & Inspired By).The song won a 2023 Hollywood Music In Media Award for SciFi/Fantasy Film, a 2024 SCL Award for “Outstanding Original Song For A Dramatic Or Documentary Visual Media Production” and was shortlisted for the 2024 Oscars.

Shortly after the GUTS tour launched, Olivia released GUTS (spilled) – the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, which contains five additional songs, including “obsessed,” a highlight of her live show and a brand-new song “so american,” recorded following the release of GUTS.

John Edward has brought a fresh, honest and thought-provoking attitude to the world of psychic phenomena. As a medium, author and lecturer, he has, over the last three decades, helped thousands with his uncanny ability to predict future events and communicate with those who have crossed over to the Other Side. Deeply compelling, often startling and occasionally humorous, John’s down-to-earth approach has earned him a vast and loyal following.

In 2000, John pioneered the psychic phenomena genre with the television program Crossing Over with John Edward. It was the first television show syndicated worldwide devoted to psychic mediumship and it would go on to run for four seasons. John followed up the success of Crossing Over with John Edward with another television program, John Edward Cross Country, which debuted in 2006 and ran for three seasons.

John is one of the world’s foremost psychic mediums and the author of the critically-acclaimed, New York Times Best Sellers One Last Time, Crossing Over: The Stories Behind the Stories, What if God Were the Sun, After Life: Answers from the Other Side, Practical Praying: Using the Rosary to Enhance Your Life, Final Beginnings, Infinite Quest and Fallen Masters.

In 2011, John launched a digital network to deliver real-time content internationally, culminating in the creation of the online community, “Evolve.” Members of “Evolve” have exclusive access to view John’s web series, “Evolve with John Edward,” which features member readings, celebrity interviews and assorted metaphysical lifestyle content. “Evolve with John Edward” is in its sixteenth season.

John’s broad appeal has led to numerous tours of the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK and Ireland, a weekend takeover at Sirius Satellite radio and expert appearances on Oprah, Dr. Phil, the Kardashian programs and Dr. Oz. He has also been featured on CNN’s Larry King Live, The View, Ellen, The Today Show, Entertainment Today, Live with Regis & Kelly, The Early Show, The Crier Report, Fox and Friends, Maury, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Dateline, ABC’s 20/20, the critically-acclaimed HBO special: Life Afterlife and a cameo appearance on NBC’s Will & Grace. He continues to be an in-demand guest on radio and tv programs around the world.

John has appeared in articles for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Newsday, Entertainment Weekly, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Associated Press (to name a few). He was named one of People Magazine’s Most Intriguing People of the Year in 2002.

Born and raised on Long Island, NY, John exhibited psychic abilities from an extremely early age, and was deemed “special” by many in his family. The fact that he would uncannily know family history and events that took place prior to his birth solidified that fact. Because no fuss was made over these early experiences, he maintained as normal childhood as possible. Since Psychic Phenomena was so accepted by his family, it was easy for his abilities to flourish. John embarked on developing his own abilities after an encounter with psychic Lydia Clar. Lydia made him aware of his abilities and told him his life’s work would be teaching people about it. That mission has been channeled into his work as a medium, which enables him to bring comfort and hope to people by reuniting them with those who they loved and lost.

John resides on Long Island, NY with his wife Sandra, their two children Justin and Olivia and their two dogs: Sydney and Lucky.

Banks Arcade Announce Brand New EP ‘A Muse’ Due Out June 28 & Shares New Single ‘Heartstop’

BANKS ARCADE
ANNOUNCE BRAND NEW EP
A MUSE DUE OUT JUNE 28

BAND SHARES NEW SINGLE
HEARTSTOP

TOURING NATIONALLY THIS MAY

An enticing continuation of their earlier works, today Banks Arcade return with the announcement of a brand new EP, A Muse, due out on June 28 via UNFD.

Evolving from the darker sides explored on their recent DEATH 2 EP, released in February, A Muse finds the New Zealand-hailing, Melbourne-based quartet shedding the expected and instead flourishing between moments of searing rock, towering hooks, dance beats and fresh explorations into heavy surrounds.

A deeply personal extension of DEATH 2‘s chaos and sonic metamorphosis, today’s announcement of A Muse is also accompanied by the brand new single Heartstop; a swaggering, guitar-driven breakup anthem balanced with audacious grit and potent gloss, with the track premiering on New Zealand’s #1 rock station The Rock.

Heartstop is a sassy breakup rock anthem, the band shares of their latest single. It’s got a bit of ‘f*** you’ to it, but really it’s just a fun song that was made to make people dance and forget about that asshole that broke their heart.

Offering a memorable companion to their recent new single Self Help, also taken from the forthcoming A Muse EP, Heartstop readily wears its heart on its sleeve with infectious abandon, with vocalist Joshua O’Donnell powerfully declaring, “I like the way that I move / When I’m not hung up on you” alongside a sauntering chorus backdrop. And it’s this very notion of strength in vulnerability that carries throughout A Muse, from the vehement urgency of opening track Alive through to the moody ferocity of No Future and beyond.

Ruminating on their upcoming new EP, the band share: “A Muse follows on from DEATH 2 in a much more vulnerable way. It covers a lot of personal issues from relationships to internal struggles and in each song I tried to speak with my own voice as much as possible as opposed to the more abstract stuff on DEATH 2.”

Via DEATH 2, Banks Arcade didn’t merely build on their previously-established trademark sound; rather, it catapulted their heady blend of hard rock, electronic and metal into an entirely new sonic stratosphere, while also expressing the darkest and heaviest side of the quartet to date.

A band who always wanted to make history, Banks Arcade bring passion and potent execution to their myriad of influences and creative ideas. Formed over a shared love of music with a razor-sharp avant-garde aesthetic, Banks Arcade have always teetered on modernity; a fact displayed firmly on their 2018 debut EP Endnote, its 2020 follow up Fever Dreams, and the group’s head-turning singles Roses and Drown, both of which have gone on to amass well over 2 million individual streams.

Releasing their full-length Future Lovers in 2022, Banks Arcade cemented their future-facing trademark style while also turning heads courtesy of their emphatic soundscapes, searing metal and hip hop additions.

Fresh off the back of releasing DEATH 2in February, Banks Arcade also supported metalcore titans Northlane nationally alongside ERRA and Landmvrks that same month. And after two years of non-stop touring, Banks Arcade will also hit the road in New Zealand and Australia with a brand new live show this May, with the Death 2 A Muse Tour set to compile the band’s best work to date.

For Banks Arcade in 2024, DEATH 2 was only the beginning. Don’t miss a moment of what happens next.

Good Neighbours AKA Scott and Oli leapt onto the global scene from their East London studio in January of this year with debut single and viral sensation Home – a tender yet triumphant track that has since racked up over 160 million streams, peaked at number 21 in the ARIA Singles Chart and received extensive radio play across the country. The boys have since followed up with the equally infectious Keep It Up, with plenty more releases on the horizon.

A band born out of small towns and spare time, Good Neighbours first started out of Scott and Oli’s desire to make something positive and unpolished in a music scene where everything felt mellow and intimate. Throughout 2023, they began making music for the love of it with an urge to rekindle early 2000’s sounds of the likes of Passion Pit and MGMT, a nod to classic songwriting and raucous production and inspiration from A24, friendship, and a cinematic approach to making music.

Good Neighbours are wasting no time capturing the world’s attention – don’t miss their exciting debut shows down under.

**********

Tasmanian best mates Luca Brasi are back with their sixth studio album; one that thrums with renewed energy and verve; a fiery blast from a band refreshed, renewed, and better than ever. It’s often said that there’s something magical about Tasmania. And true, too, is that there’s something magical about Luca Brasi. They’re a marvel of an act – always humble, not an ego among them, as comfortable in amongst the crowd as they are in front of it.

This band of mates, formed in the pristine yet rugged surrounds of Tasmania’s oft unforgiving east coast, has long been on a journey. From 2011’s raucous Extended Family debut that grabbed everyone by the scruff and hauled them into a party that was already well underway, to 2021’s Everything Is Tenuous, that displayed a more matured, slowed down reflection on love, growing up, and getting older.

And now with The World Don’t Owe You Anything, the group’s sixth studio album, Luca Brasi gives us everything they’ve got. The riffs are desperate, fast, and are aching to be heard. The songwriting takes us on a journey of introspection and self-reflection and throws it up against a bombastic, urgent backing track that harkens back to the group’s salad days. The result is a collection of songs that beg the sky-flung fists and beer showers of bandrooms across the country to come with it.

Special guests on the tour are Spanish Love Songs. Despite their name, the LA-formed indie-punk band aren’t known for forays into the uplifting. Since 2013, the quintet have instead made hay on the backs of a string of beloved albums –2015’s Giant Sings The Blues, 2018’s Schmaltz and 2020’s Brave Faces Everyone – lauded by critics and fans alike for their richly personal, no-holds-barred lyricism awash in existential dead, hyper-personal cultural ruminations and attempts to answer life’s big questions. Their most recent album release NO JOY find the band grappling with the messiness of what it means to be alive in the modern age – unsure of the answers themselves but confident that together, we can all come a little closer to the solutions.

MG Live and Frontier Touring are excited to announce UK’s rising pop singer-songwriter, Griff, will head to Australia and New Zealand for a series of headline shows this August as part of her global World Vertigo Tour.

Off the back of her exclusive sold-out debut show in Sydney back in January, the demand for Griff is overwhelming! Following a whole lot of Aussie love, Griff is returning just six months later to Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne this August as well as Auckland, New Zealand for the first time.

Frontier Member presale kicks off Wednesday 1 May at 10am local time before the general on sale on Friday 3 May at 11am local time. Tickets via frontiertouring.com/griff

Griff has also today announced details of her debut album vertigo, which will be released on Warner Music Australia, Friday 19 July – pre-order here. Featuring anthemic new single ‘Miss Me Too’, the full tracklist was unveiled by Griff in a huge, spray-painted dress from CSM designer Eden Tan. Watch the tracklist reveal.

Before Griff’s debut album had a name – or its titular first single, even – it had a feeling: vertigo. That pit-of-your-stomach, up-is-down sense that the world is spinning faster than you can keep up with, and your own place in it has never felt less secure. It’s a journey of self-discovery that Griff has taken fans on ever since, building the three volumes of her landmark project in real-time and weaving songs that resonated with the vertigo arc into work that moves through melancholy and heartache into healing and joy. A coming-of-age album shaped for complex times, vertigo witnesses Griff scaling new creative heights without compromising the hand-stitched, home-made magic that first marked her out as British Pop’s most modern, exciting voice.

With a 360-approach on everything from production, fashion and design to the spiral motif long connecting vertigo in plain sight – right down to her signature hair style – Griff’s debut album turns the tumultuousness of young adulthood into a source of power. Latest single ‘Miss Me Too’ is a euphoric, existential banger about the little-discussed irony of losing confidence as you supposedly grow older and wiser, and was accompanied by a beautifully choreographed video physically exorcising such emotions. Throughout the record, the BRITs Rising Star winner draws on her sideways origin-story, from her unorthodox Chinese-Jamaican outsider-status growing up to launching an international music career from the confines of her bedroom. That tenacious, no-nonsense talent always wise beyond her years also sounds – crucially – like she is living: free of expectation, and moving through a world in which there is no one way to make your debut album or to be yourself.

Introducing the record today, Griff comments: “the album is about vertigo as an emotion and the dizziness and upside down feeling of heartache. I wanted to drop this project in parts from insular low feelings (Vol.1) to desperate euphoria (Vol.2) and with volume three, the full story.”

Praise for ‘Miss Me Too’

“Griff exists in the lineage of Lorde’s hyper-specific and emotional lyricism, as well as Taylor Swift’s knack for a killer hook” – Rolling Stone

“Magnificently bombastic…the British pop star’s best yet” – The Guardian

“A magnified, full-bodied sound that has progressed in step with Griff’s own growth…sends Griff’s voice to the stars” – NME

“Recalls Robyn in its devastating one-two of euphoria and melancholy” – Sunday Times
