ABOUT DYLAN GOSSETT:

Dylan Gossett is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Austin, TX. Dylan began writing and recording music during his early teen years using Garage Band on his mother’s computer. Throughout high school, college at Texas A&M, and a job at Formula 1 Racing, music remained Dylan’s true passion. Inspired to finally release music by a new generation of singer-songwriters he saw emerging online, Dylan began posting videos of his songs in April 2023 — immediately, his music struck a chord with a global audience.

Dylan released his first single “To Be Free” (entirely self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) on June 30th, 2023. Shortly thereafter, he teased a snippet of what would become his next song and breakout viral hit “Coal.” The video instantly took off, gaining over 1 million views within the first week. He quickly got back into his bedroom and created the song from scratch before releasing it on July 27th, 2023. Since its release, “Coal” has garnered over 275 million global streams, received Platinum Certifications in Canada and Australia and a Gold Certification in the US, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and the Official Singles Chart Top 100 in the UK, reached the Top 5 on the Country Radio Chart in Australia, and continues to climb the Spotify US Top 200. The New York Times called “Coal” “one of the year’s best country songs,” and Billboard declared, “‘Coal’ and ‘To Be Free’ position Gossett as a formidable, heart-on-his-sleeve singer-songwriter with immense potential.”

In October 2023, Dylan released his highly anticipated debut EP No Better Time (also self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. The EP received a slew of critical acclaim from The New York Times, Billboard, Grammy.com, Atwood Magazine, Music Row, Holler Country, Country Central, and more. He followed up No Better Time with his sophomore EP Songs in the Gravel this past March, which he wrote all four songs for and self-produced two. On this project, he also teamed up with notable producers Eddie Spear and Ian Fitchuk on two of the tracks. Rolling Stone praised the EP and Gossett, saying, “Even in country’s current era of overnight success and viral sensations, Dylan Gossett stands out.”

On the touring front, he embarked on his first-ever headline tour this past spring, which saw him perform in cities across North America, London, and Dublin and sold-out immediately upon on-sale. Soon after, he announced his summer and fall 2024 headline run in the UK, Europe, and North America, which includes sold-out shows at Dublin’s Vicar St., London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, New York’s Irving Plaza, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and more. Not to mention, earlier this year, he supported Noah Kahan across Australia and Morgan Wallen at Houston’s Minute Maid Park, as well as opened for Wyatt Flores and Brent Cobb on their fall 2023 tours. He also has been performing at a slew of festivals this spring and summer, including SXSW, Hangout Music Festival, CMA Fest, Tortuga Music Festival, Two Step Inn Festival, and more.

DUNE RATS + FIDLAR AUSTRALIAN TOUR

IT’S ON!

DUNE RATS & FIDLAR

TEAM UP FOR A TRANSPACIFIC MATEFEST AUSTRALIAN TOUR – AUGUST / SEPTEMBER

Presented by triple j

Fan Presale from 9am (local) on Thursday 20 June

General Public on sale from 9am (local) Friday 21 June

While playing the UK together last year, DUNE RATS and FIDLAR found themselves sitting backstage drinking warm ales, talking about releasing their new albums (more on that below), and how much they wanted to keep the party rolling! Thankfully for Aussie fans, those chats have become a reality!

“The FIDLAR / DUNIES relationship has honestly been a touring brotherhood that has seen us ping pong all over the world. It’s been the best part of a decade playing shows together that started when they first came to Australia doing venues half the size of the ones we are playing on this tour. Showing them the Aussie diet of beer and BBQ’s plus a bit of surfing and partying meant that when we wanted to tour the US, they bundled us into a van and spent 3 months seeing the States – from Gator Back scratchers in Florida to the bright lights of New York City. We went to the UK last year to play shows together and that’s where this tour came to fruition. Can’t wait to show them how crazy it is to play in Australia this time round, will definitely fit a few snags in too” – DUNE RATS

“The Dunies are like your favorite cousin that you only get to see every couple of years. You’ve known them forever, you like them more than some of your other cousins, you crack each other up, get into trouble, have a few heart to hearts even….when we get together…it’s like a psycho little family reunion!!! Truly kindred Ledge Lords!”FIDLAR

So, fire up Australia! Brace yourself for the ultimate transpacific matefest hitting our golden shores this August and September. DUNE RATS and FIDLAR are teaming up once again for a tour that promises to be nothing short of epic! This time around the venues will be bigger, the crowds will be wilder, and the vibes will no doubt be off the hook!

Tickets will be in hot demand, so fans are urged to register at dunerats.tv for pre-sale access. The fan pre-sale will commence at 9am local time on Thursday 20th June with general onsale 9am local time on Friday 21st June.

While you’re at it, pre-order a copy of Dunies upcoming 5th album ‘If It Sucks, Turn It Up’, the band’s most adventurous musical statement yet. It finds them evolving their sound and honing their melodic instincts across a diverse range of styles, all delivered with the energy and infectious humour that is unmistakably Dunies. The album features the singles ‘Be Like You’, ‘Solar Eyes’ and current tune – ‘Cheapskate’.

And you’d be mad not to pre-save the new FIDLARalbum ‘SURVIVING THE DREAM’ which will release on September 20th!

Zac Cross Band Share New Single & Video ‘If You Have To Know’ + Announce Forthcoming Tour Dates

QLD Country rockers Zac Cross Band have “A sound that’s catching attention and making serious waves in the music scene” (Unfiltered & Undiscovered). Today the boys unveil their warm-hearted new single, ‘If You Have to Know’.

“If You Have To Know tells a part of the story of how my now fiancé and I started seeing each other,” shares frontman, Zac. The three-and-a-half-minute bop reminisces on the newly engaged couple’s roots.

“The intention of If You Have To Know is to capture the moment when you realise that this person could be the start of the rest of your life and that you want more than a kiss goodnight, you want a kiss good morning.”

Cruisy guitar lines and a lazy backbeat form the backdrop for Zac’s earnest words. “The lyrics are words that were said, the depiction of the story really happened. It can be daunting to put your life on paper and tell your story to the world, but I am proud of this story and the life it has given me.”

As the band descended on Machine Lab Recording, alongside Gold Coast hit-maker, Jared Adlam (Adam Brand, Matt Cornell), they dug through the archives to find the new single. “This song was written 5 years ago and was basically an entirely different song. When it came time to cut the track, I felt that the essence of the story was there, but the lyrics were outdated and needed a fresh coat of paint. Between myself and Jared, we re-wrote the song and by the end of the day, it was basically finished and recorded.”

To stay true to the song’s authenticity the boys opted to shoot the music video in their hometown, Rockhampton. Produced by good friend and fellow artist Josh Setterfield, the clip heavily features the renowned Great Western Hotel. “The whole idea for the music video is a boy meets girl story, but literally my story. Ironically the two main actors are my brother and his wife, who met the same day and at the same place as me and my fiancé!”

Since releasing their first music only two years ago the 4-piece have become favourites on the live circuit. “..Zac Cross Band, showcasing undeniable talent that permeated the room.. The performance set a monumental tone for the rest of the night.” (Scenestr)

They opened for Aussie legends Dragon at the 2023 Rocky Nats; lit up the Big Beer Festival, Country on Keppel, Country on Quay and countless PBR’s. This year fans can find them on some of the best festivals stages – Country Fest Queensland, Baralaba Bash, Boon Lane Country Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Wild As Country Party and Goombungee Country.

On top of their festival appearances, the boys keep a rigorous touring schedule. Over the coming months they’ll trace their way down the coast to play a slew of shows through the sunshine state.

Zac Cross Band continue to produce genuine music, ranging from heart-warming ballads to full pelt Rock. ‘If You Have To Know’ is a testament to their versatility and a sure-fire hit for “a band undoubtedly at the top of their game” (Stereo Stickman).

HAMMERFALL Announce First Ever Australian Tour

THE MIGHT! THE POWER! THE GLORY!

ANNOUNCE FIRST EVER AUSTRALIAN TOUR

‘’It’s a spectacular show and encapsulates just how and why HammerFall have become such a beloved band across the world.’’ Headbanging Life

The GODS have listened, and they have heeded your call, Sweden’s Power Metal overlords, the mighty HammerFall will set sail for Australia in January 2025 for their first ever Australian tour.

‘’We all agreed that one measly show in 27 years is not nearly enough. So we’re coming in full force next year. Brace yourselves for a Heavy Metal celebration the likes of which you have never seen!’’ – Oscar Dronjak

‘’We are very excited to bring our particular brand of Heavy Metal to Australia for the first time, and we can’t wait to show you what HammerFall Anno 2025 sounds like!’’ – Joacim Cans

No matter how much everything changes in culture and the world at large, heavy metal endures. It empowers. It engages. It engenders strength. It outlasts fads. Since forming in Gothenburg, Sweden and releasing their debut album Glory To The Brave in 1997, HammerFall have stormed the gates of heavy music’s pantheon and waved the genre’s flag higher and higher with every subsequent release. With multiple international number ones, gold certifications, sold out tours, and over 100 million+ streams and 100 million+ YouTube views, the group upholds a venerable legacy.

But it is in a live setting where they outshine their peers and imitators. In true HammerFall fashion, every element becomes dangerously and dramatically amplified. The riffs hit harder. The rhythms thunder louder. The choruses soar closer to the clouds.

The Hammer will strike with force in Australia as HammerFall unleash a setlist full of power drenched anthems such as ‘Heart’s on Fire’, ‘Last Man Standing’, ‘Brotherhood’, ‘Heeding the Call’, ‘Any Means Necessary’, ‘Hail to the King’ and so many more.

Donning their brightest shining armour, HammerFall will leave their mark on Australia forever by delivering an unforgettable live experience for metalheads across the continent.
