Yung Gravy dropped Marvelous on 28 October via Republic Records. The album was accompanied by his new music video for single ‘Dancing In The Rain’ and ushers in Gravy’s biggest, boldest and best era yet – and we get to see it live!

Yung Gravy released the record’s lead single Betty (Get Money)’ in June 2022, popping off as a generation bridging banger as it reignites the classic chorus (and iconic synths) of Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’. Produced by Dillon Francis, Dwilly, and Popnick, the track has already gone Gold in the United States and Canada, in addition to generating over 200 million global streams.

Betty (Get Money)’ notably broke out as Yung Gravy’s first Top 10 on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs Chart and leapt into the Top 30 of the Hot 100, ticking off another first for the rapper. Dominating airwaves both in the US and Australia, the single led to Yung Gravy making his late-night television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and a performance slot at MTV’s VMAs pre-show.

Alongside these massive releases, Yung Gravy has accelerated his meteoric rise this year with a co-headline tour of the states with Dillon Francis, an opening slot on Limp Bizkit’s arena tour and a series of RIAA certified platinum and gold bangers including: platinum ‘Mr. Clean’, platinum ‘1 Thot 2 Thot Red Thot Blue Thot’,  gold ‘oops!!!’ gold ‘Magic’, gold ‘Whip A Tesla’ and ‘Welcome to Chilis’ with bbno$.

Yung Gravy is currently on a 29-city, co-headline tour of North America with bbno$ through December, before reaching Australian shores in February. Tickets are selling fast so jump on the gravy train and get them quick!

FINNEAS Announces Sydney & Melbourne Headline Shows

Academy and GRAMMY® Award-winning artist FINNEAS is pleased to announce he’ll return to Australia in February 2023, to perform two exclusive headline shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday 1 February, and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Tuesday 7 February. The Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer was recently announced on the line-up for Laneway Festival ’23, with headline dates presented by Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring.

It’s been a huge 12 months for the prolific FINNEAS, following the October 2021 release of Optimist, his debut studio album, which earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best New Artist. That nod takes his nominations to a career total of 14, thanks to FINNEAS’ extensive and chart-topping songwriting and production work for sister Billie Eilish.

THUNDAMENTALS New Album ‘ALL THIS LIFE’ Out Now – 2023 National Tour Confirmed, With Special Guest HORRORSHOW

Thundamentals have released their highly anticipated sixth studio album All This Life, featuring singles Top Of The World and Lifted Up, and are pumped to announce a national tour for January and February 2023.

With over a decade in the game, Thundamentals’ journey has been one of triumph and growth. From selling out shows in all corners of the country racking up millions of streams worldwide and landing multiple platinum and gold singles, Tuka, Jeswon and Morgs have consistently pushed Thundamentals to new heights, standing tall as one of the most notable names in homegrown hip-hop.

The band has just announced that founding member Tuka, whilst still an integral member of the band, won’t be part of Thundas’ All This Life national tour and in a move that has the full support of fellow band members Jesse and Morgs, will focus his energy on his songwriting and personal / family life.

In exciting news for the tour, Thundas will be joined and supported by special guest and lead vocalist of Horrorshow, Solo – he will be joining the Thundamentals set for these very special shows!

Like so many of us, Thundamentals went through an immense period of growth during the global pandemic. An uncertain future was lingering, and the group were unable to connect with fans at live shows as they had done so frequently throughout their career. Forced to reconsider their approach, they began to write constantly—at times, in person and at others virtually. At first, there was no particular goal in mind beyond pure escapism and maintaining a connection, but as the months went on the realisation set in that regardless of the physical limitations, there was still a lot of life happening.

Thundamentals’ sixth album All This Life came about from these conversations. The project represents a rise against adversity and a celebration of the goodness in life. Acting as a beacon of light in dark times, All This Life aims to leave listeners with a sense of hope and uplift them in times of uncertainty.

Sonically, the album could be considered a fresh direction for Thundamentals, but it’s one they took organically. Having been thrust into new circumstances with a newfound appreciation for life and creating also led to inspiration being drawn from childhood favourites from outside of their traditionally hip hop roots—iconic ‘60s rock idols like David Bowie and The Doors to the raw expression of ‘90s bands like Nirvana and Faith No More laid the foundations for an album that mixes nostalgic sounds with modern techniques while still incorporating the group’s origins in hip hop and R&B culture.

The final piece of the puzzle was collaborator Carl Dimataga, who brought his expert musicianship to the project. All This Life is a rose growing from concrete. A joyful, vibrant and uplifting body of work forged in darkness yet drenched in light. It represents not only a celebration of life itself but also the band’s position this far into their career. It’s a declaration: “We are still standing, and we have so much love and life still left to give.”

Jesse and Morgs, ably assisted by Solo from Horrorshow, will hit the road from January 13, 2023 in Cairns, before heading to Brisbane, Adelaide, Fremantle, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Torquay, and Newcastle, before concluding in Sydney on February 18. Audiences can look forward to hearing these new songs live for the first time, along with all the killer tunes from across the band’s lengthy career.

ALEXISONFIRE Announces National Australian Tour for Feb 2023

Canadian hardcore five-piece Alexisonfire today reveal they will return to Australia in February 2023, playing their first Antipodean headline dates since their 2017 tour. This summer, the band will bring their powerful on-stage energy to Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 17 February, followed by stops in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Local heroes Luca Brasi will open for Alexisonfire on all dates, warming audiences with their dynamic live set. One of the country’s most roadworthy outfits, the four piece never fails to electrify on the live stage, Loud Mag writing “a wonderful, emotional punk-rock performance”. Hailing from Tasmania, Luca Brasi reached a new level with Everything Is Tenuous, their sophisticated and uplifting fifth studio album, released last year.

Admired by Australian audiences, on their eighth visit down under Alexisonfire will perform songs from their celebrated catalogue, along with tunes from their new record Otherness – never before heard live by local audiences.

Otherness is the first full length studio album in over thirteen years from the group Rolling Stone declared “put Canadian post-hardcore on the map”. Their most cohesive and self-actualized record to date, across the ten tracks of Otherness the band builds a “deliciously gritty record” (Line Of Best Fit).

“As much as we love playing the old songs, we don’t want to be a nostalgia act. The only reason to come back is if we feel we still have something to say,” frontman George Pettit insists. “We spent so much time on the road thinking that if we stopped, people would lose interest. But when we went away, it only got bigger. We all carved new paths for ourselves, so coming back to Alexisonfire is a purely enjoyable creative venture. Something special happens when we get in a room together.”

Between 2002 and 2009, Alexisonfire released four hugely successful studio albums, all platinum-certified in their native Canada; Alexisonfire (2002), Watch Out (2004), Canadian No.1 Crisis (2006), and Old Crows / Young Cardinals (2009).

The band’s legacy across Canada and the world cannot be overstated; from their 2001 inception in Ontario, five guys playing aggressive rock (with no less than three of them singing and screaming) grew to a hockey-arena headlining phenomenon while pushing and pulling between spirited guitar leads, melodic might, and emotional weight.

As Revolver Magazine noted upon the release of the doomy “Familiar Drugs” comeback 7” in 2019: “It’s hard to overstate the influence Alexisonfire had in post-hardcore through the mid-2000s, their combination of singing and screaming setting the blueprint for many artists to come.”

Dallas Green’s engaging croon; the urgent attitude of Wade MacNeil; the heavy bellow of George Pettit; all anchored by a mix of vulnerability, confidence, iconoclasm, and celebratory recklessness. As every Alexisonfire song persistently expands and contracts, bassist Chris Steele and drummer Jordan Hastings remain impossibly tight, locked into unrelenting swinging grooves.

Alexisonfire has blown audiences away at major international festival appearances over Northern Hemisphere summer, including Lollapalooza across South America, Canada’s Born & Raised Festival and a “flawless” Rage Against The Machine North American support.

This February, experience music at its best when Alexisonfire take the stage with special guests Luca Brasi for four mind-blowing live shows.

Saosin Announce Australian Headline Tour – March 2023

US post hardcore icons, Saosin will return to Australia for the first time in 13 years for a national headline tour in March, 2023!

Fronted by their original vocalist, Anthony Green, the band will be playing bangers from all of their highly influential albums, 2006’s self titled, 2009’s In Search Of Solid Ground and 2016’s Along The Shadow and from their groundbreaking EP’s including their debut, 2003’s Translating The NameSongs such as You’re Not Alone, Voices, Seven Years and Collapse which have all racked up well over 10 million spins each and helped define a sub-genre.

One of post hardcore’s formative pillars. Saosin were among the first bands to fully embrace social media as a way of promoting themselves (remember MySpace?) and they burst onto the scene in 2003 with their explosive debut EP, Translating The Name

Their poweful live shows and heavy internet presence, coupled with critical praise from the industry and media alike, cultivated a loyal underground following which has remained strong for the past two decades!

Rounded out by guitarist Beau Burchell, bassist Chris Sorenson, and drummer Alex Rodriguez, Saosin’s scene-defining blend of heady artistic intellectualism and passion is an adventurous rush of energy. Equal parts confidence and vulnerability, it straddles the line between metalcore angst and melodic experimentalism and strikes the perfect balance of what makes their music simultaneously pretty and brutal.

Don’t miss Saosin’s first ever headline shows in Australia and their first here since 2010!
