HANABIE. Announce Debut Australian Headline Tour This November

Tokyo-based all-girl rockers HANABIE. are proud to announce their debut headline Australian tour in 2024, with the quartet set to stupefy down under this November.

Following their incredible appearances in Australia late last year as part of Good Things Festival, HANABIE. will return this year wielding their Harajuku-core prowess, headlining stages in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

With their kaleidoscopic fusion of upbeat metalcore, EDM, nu metal, hyper-pop and hardcore, HANABIE. are renowned for contrasting their heavy tones with Harajuku aesthetics, injecting a fresh and extremely fun breath of fresh air into the heavy scene. Forming in high school, the quartet rose to fame via their single Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now, with the accompanying video now in command of over 7 million views on YouTube, and 5 million views and counting on TikTok.

Solidifying their current lineup in 2023, HANABIE. unleashed their most recent album Reborn Superstar! that same year, snagging international acclaim for their innovative take on modern metalcore as well as taking out #24 on the Billboard Japan weekly album charts. Channeling a sparkly disposition along with synths and plenty of heavy moments, Reborn Superstar! joined the group’s debut album, 2021’s Girl’s Reform Manifest, in cementing HANABIE. as bonafide global sensations.

Brandishing a live show as colourful as their sonic output, HANABIE. bring a charming ferocity to every performance, whether touring alongside Limp Bizkit and Galactic Empire, or at high-profile festivals including Aftershock, Louder Than Life Festival and Blue Ridge Rock Fest. And with appearances locked in at Lollapalooza and Mayhem Festival, as well as a North America tour alongside Jinjer later this year, HANABIE. will close out 2024 in sensational fashion with their headline Australian run.

For a guaranteed night of electrifying fun, definitely don’t miss HANABIE.‘s first ever headline shows down under this November.

With hits like The Funeral, Laredo and No One’s Gonna Love You – and three ARIA Top 30 albums – the band has garnered a loyal following in Australia since first touring here in 2006. Originally from Seattle, their early records saw them become one of the most prominent indie rock bands of the era, with their 2010 LP Infinite Arms nominated for a Grammy. Known for their dynamic sound, evocative lyrics and compelling live performances, their songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans. With her distinctive enchanting voice, vintage sound and eclectic mix of country, folk, Americana and blues, her performance will leave audiences spellbound. On tour in the US with country superstar Zach Bryan, their powerful duet Holy Roller has amassed 46 million streams on Spotify alone. Her latest album Trail Of Flowers shows why Sierra is being hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of country and roots music’s most fascinating and fast-rising artists”.

Adding to the stellar lineup is charismatic Irish singer-songwriter, CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson). This rising star’s unique blend of indie-pop and country has propelled her to prominence since her 2022 debut, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead, which won the Choice Music Award for Irish Album of the Year. Her powerful performances and clever songwriting have made her a distinctive voice in contemporary music, with her latest album Crazymad, For Me earning her nominations for a Brit Award and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Best Album. With superstar fans like Elton John and Robbie Williams singing her praises, CMAT has captured the attention of the music world, and with her full band in tow, will no doubt captivate crowds at her first-ever Australian shows.

The Whitlams Announce ‘Love This City’ 25th Anniversary Tour

The Whitlams Love This City 25 Years Tour goes on sale this Thursday 20 June at 10am.

Visiting their favourite theatres and pubs around Australia over 12 dates, the band will tour with one of the country’s best brass sections to punch out the interwoven melodies that so defined the lushly orchestrated long player.

Love This City (1999) was The Whitlams fourth album, a much anticipated big-budget follow-up to the award-winning Eternal Nightcap which had led them to Best Group and Best Song at the ARIA Awards the previous year.

Since 2022, a reinvigorated Tim Freedman has led The Whitlams in a resurgence, touring heavily and releasing two new albums – Sancho (2022) and Kookaburra (2024), the latter an Americana-shaded album which still sits at #3 on the ARIA Australian Country Albums chart three months after its release.

With one eye thus firmly in the present, Freedman will take the time in October and November to look back fondly to an album that, at the time, seemed like it would make or break him. The initial critical reception was rapturous (see below), but the surprising choice of first single ‘Chunky Chunky Air Guitar’ proved to be a stumble, considered as a puzzling novelty song unrepresentative of the band.

The second and third singles corrected the ship, when ‘Blow Up the Pokies’ and ‘Thank You (for loving me at my worst)’ were successful at radio and drove the album to double platinum status. Love This City has retained its solid reputation and was placed along with its predecessor in the Rolling Stone’s 200 Greatest Albums of All-time, with Eternal Nightcap at #36, and Love This City at #101.

Tim Freedman will be joined by long term cohort’s guitarist Jak Housden and drummer Terepai Richmond, who were both part of the sessions back in 1999, with new member multi-instrumentalist Ian Peres.

It will be an evening of memories, melody and humour as the band delivers its usual rambunctious performance, complete with the power of brass.

‘LOVE THIS CITY’ 25TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR DATES:

Friday 4th October – Corner Hotel – Richmond, VIC

Saturday 5th October – Corner Hotel – Richmond, VIC

Friday 11th October – City Recital Hall – Sydney, NSW

Thursday 17th October – Canberra Theatre Centre – Canberra, ACT

Friday 18th October – Odeon Theatre – Hobart, TAS

Saturday 19th October – Craigie Knowe Vineyard – Cranbrook, TAS

Saturday 2nd November – Princess Theatre – Woolloongabba, QLD

Friday 8th November – Anita’s Theatre – Thirroul, NSW

Saturday 9th November – Newcastle Civic Theatre – Newcastle, NSW

Thursday 14th November – Astor Theatre – Perth, WA

Friday 15th November – Shelter Brewing Co – Busselton, WA

Saturday 7th December – The Gov – Hindmarsh, SA

Tickets on sale Thursday 20th June and available via https://thewhitlams.com/tour/:

DAILY TELEGRAPH – Dino Scatena

An extraordinary couple of years in the life of Tim Freedman has seen the Sydney-based musician come out the other side with an extraordinary new album.

His Whitlams’ latest Love This City can stake a serious claim on being the biggest album ever produced by a local act, in sound at least.

With the help of some 50 musicians both here and in Memphis (including such local luminaries as Garry Gary Beers, Chris Abrahams, Marcia Hines and Jackie Orszaczky, Love This City constantly strolls from Freedman’s solo trademark piano tinkerings to monumental string and brass arrangements, often within the confines of the same song.

THE COURIER MAIL – Noel Mengel

The Whitlams are no longer just another promising band from the inner-Sydney indie scene and Freedman has the freedom and the budget to create the album that has been spinning around in his head for years.

And he succeeds beyond all expectations with Love This City (East West/Warner), a record destined to provide the soundtrack for the summer and, in years to come, be regarded as a high watermark for Ozpop in the ’90s, using pop, rock and soul ingredients for its distinctive Australian flavour.

At the core of the album is a trio of songs inspired by events around the local pub at the end of his street in Sydney’s Newtown.

You Gotta Love This City is a lightly funky soul tune (with marimbas, flute and Marcia Hines, no less, on backing vocals) that tells the tale of a young man who loses his job and wanders drunkenly by the harbour on the night that Syd-er-ny won the Olympics; God Drinks At The Sando is a late-night piano-bar ballad; Blow Up The Pokies is an anti-gambling song written after poker machines took over the stage where this band played its first shows.

I’ve been listening to Love This City for a month and each time I go back it reveals new layers to me, the surest indication of an album with a long shelf life.

GOLD COAST BULLETIN – Paul Weston

The latest offering from Tim Freedman and The Whitlams is already being touted as the soundtrack of the summer.

After a few listens, the 15-track Love This City lives up to the hype with the combination of Freedman’s clever lyrics and pop/soul melodies.

There are three standout tracks, starting with You Gotta Love This City which apart from opening with some soulful back-up vocals from Marcia Hines is possibly the best song written about Sydney and how it prostitutes its beauty to earn a dollar.

The track should become pre-Games special, but the real political drama here is provided by 400 Miles From Darwin, a deep, brooding piece about Australia’s shameful failure to stop the carnage in East Timor which carries the line ‘We would have all been Schindler there’.

The best is the working-class anthem Blow Up The Pokies, with Freedman as always leading on piano and backed by soaring string arrangements.

SYDNEY MORNING HERALD – Matt Buchanan

For a start, it’s an album of many songs, various in style, theme and expression and many, many musicians – try five drummers, including d.i.g. engine Terepai Richmond. It has big orchestral flourishes, but strings are not dominant. It’s an album of R&B flavours, monster choruses and touching piano-man ballads – some very strong, some that slip through the cracks. It is an album of exotic instruments: saron, Kapaci zither, the rebana from Timor, along with flute, congas, tabla and marimba. And, for the first time, there’s even politics, as Freedman chews on the big questions of East Timor in 400 Miles From Darwin and state-assisted gambling in Blow Up The Pokies.

ROLLING STONE – TYLER JENKE

200 Greatest Australian Albums of All Time

The Whitlams, ‘Love This City’

For newcomers to The Whitlams, Love This City could easily be mistaken for a mislabelled greatest hits compilation. For diehard fans, it remains a brief moment of hope amidst an era defined by personal tragedy.

Following on from the commercial breakthrough of 1997’s Eternal Nightcap, their fourth album earned the Sydney outfit a bronze medal on the ARIA charts, and widespread acclaim for its singles.

Guided by Tim Freedman’s smooth, magnetic voice, and his stellar piano work, Love This City showcased an eclectic selection of styles (most notably seen on the somewhat divisive “Chunky Chunky Air Guitar”), whilst maintaining their trademark sentiment and emotion with some of their most heartfelt work to date.

While its title track remains a classic ironic look at the city of Sydney, singles such as “Thankyou (For Loving Me at My Worst)” and “Made Me Hard” remain perfect examples of the group’s accomplished songwriting. Of course, the hard-hitting “Blow Up The Pokies” (their equal-highest charting single) serves as both an ever-relevant plea and a grim foreshadowing, with bassist Andy Lewis passing away just three months after the record’s release due to a gambling addiction.

Yet, despite the tragedies that both preceded and succeeded Love This City, it stands tall as an almost euphoric example of what one of the country’s finest bands can do when they’re firing on all cylinders, unafraid to wear their hearts on their sleeves.

SYDNEY MORNING HERALD – Matt Buchanan

Chunky Chunky Air Guitar

With so much riding on the album, the choice of first single is necessarily a delicate, even precarious choice. Now, on Love This City, there are, if not an abundance, then certainly two or three obvious contenders for first single that would easily satisfy a market still dizzy from No Aphrodisiac, truth, beauty and a picture of Tim.

There’s the anthemic Blow Up The Pokies, for example. Or, left of centre, with its irresistible key change, there’s the cover of Made Me Hard, by Bernie Hayes. Both songs are catchy, both certain hits.

So, with all the achievements of his entire past leading up to this point, with the very prow of his career nosing nervously into waters reserved for “hit-meisters only”, Freedman frisbees Chunky Chunky Air Guitar to the gasping hordes. An eccentrically phrased funk rap featuring a girl from the Cocos Islands, it has received, it must be said, an astonished response. So, mad or what?

“Brave?” offers Freedman, before deciding he had better explain. “I wish I’d put the clip out before the single because then people would have realised we were having fun.”

Undeniably, it wins several points for (apparently) being the first single ever to use the words “air guitar” in its title. But surely it risks several million as a single so unrepresentative of the album, and broadly speaking, so un-Whitlamsy. On the other hand, it is very catchy.

“I hope so, but gee, the critics are giving it a f—ing pasting,” Freedman admits. “A typical review is Chunky Air Guitar shouldn’t have even been on the album, let alone the first single.”

Whether or not one likes or loathes Chunky Chunky Air Guitar, it’s undeniably different from anything else on Love This City. But then this album is different from any other recording from the Whitlams. Tim Freedman could, for the first time, do whatever he wanted. And the album, to a large degree, reflects that fact.

THE COURIER MAIL – Noel Mengel

Thank You (for loving me at my worst)

“It is a much happier record,” Freedman says. “Even when I’m having a bit of a whinge, I’m doing it from a positive point of view.”

Thank You reflects the sunny vibrations of success: “I had a great December, money in the bank for the first time in years, a few weeks off and I hit the silly season with aplomb. “I thought, you can’t go through these happy months and not record them.”

The song has a joyful bounce that recalls John Sebastian’s Welcome Back Kotter, although Freedman reckons he was just trying to speed up Randy Newman.

Ulcerate New Zealand Death Metal Legends Announce Australasian Tour 2024

ULCERATE
New Zealand Death Metal Legends Announce
Cutting The Throat of God Australasian Tour 2024

New Zealand unorthodox Death Metal legends Ulcerate have just released their mind-bending 7th album, “Cutting the Throat of God” and will be bringing it to stages across New Zealand and Australia this winter.

Their amalgamation of dark, oppressive death metal, atmosphere and mood into sonics brimming with pure rhythmic and dissonant extremity make for a difficult listening experience.

Punishing, churning textures leave even the most hardened metal fan with a sense of total unease and anxiety. Ulcerate strive for total bleakness and have captivated those looking for a release, be it physical, mental or spiritual through their superb musicology. Ambitious, expansive, challenging. Ulcerate will take your soul and hand it back either crushed or purified…

After triumphantly casting off the shackles of claustrophobic dissonance on 2020’s lauded ‘Stare Into Death and Be Still’, Ulcerate have upped the ante even further with “Cutting the Throat of God”.

An acknowledgement that the band’s most powerful and affecting material leans to the melodic side, this refined and hook-laden new record is a self-sufficient universe unto itself, a conflagration of inventively visceral Death/Black Metal where dizzying experimentation meets head-nodding abandon – obscenely twisted and addictive, heart-stopping in its depth of feeling.

Watch the video for lead single, The Dawn Is Hollow
https://youtu.be/l31Xj44vJEA

After a quarter-century of playing music together, Hoggard/Saint Merat are cemented as one of the strongest guitar-percussion combinations in Extreme Metal, and their music has evolved organically into something completely its own. The most well-produced Ulcerate record to date, “Cutting the Throat of God” is filled with peerless rhythms, the band’s smoothest transitions, most compelling phrasing, and truly staggering riffage. The exhilarating, liquescent flow is topped off by a destructively dynamic performance from vocalist/lyricist Paul Kelland.

Although not a concept album, there is an overarching lyrical theme relating to the severance of morality: the thin line that may be crossed into depravity or extremity, and once traversed, the impossibility of return – staring into an abyss that is perpetually growing and infinite, caught in a self-replicating hell with no way back.

Experience Cutting the Throat of God in its entirety here

Ulcerate will be performing in New Zealand at the end of this month and will embark on their Australian conquest in August

Preparation is key.

Killswitch Engage (USA) Announces Australian Sideshows this September!

Killswitch Engage Announce Electrifying September Side Shows
While In Australia Opening For Iron Maiden

Tour Dates:
Tue Sept 3: The Pier, Frankston w/ Feed Her to The Sharks
Sun Sept 8: Miami Marketta, Gold Coast w/ Descent
Sat Sept 14: King St Band Room, Newcastle w/ Dropsaw

REGISTER HERE TO GET NOTIFIED WHEN TIX GO ON SALE!

Get ready to witness metal history in the making! Killswitch Engage, legends of modern heavy music, are set to bring their intense, soul-shaking live show to Australia this September.

You can count the number of acts in the last twenty years that have influenced and inspired entire sub genres within the heavy music scene. Killswitch Engage are at the top of that list.

The three-time Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling heavyweights revitalised a stagnating metal scene in the middle of a stale decade for heavy music with the release of both 2002’s Alive of Just Breathing and 2004’s, The End Of Heartache. Combining soaring, heartfelt vocals with guttural anguished growls set against a powerful mix of groove metal, hardcore and old school traditional heavy-metal-harmony, Killswitch Engage set a new standard, were heralded as a true innovators and spawned a million copy cats.

None however, could match Killswitch Engage for their sheer authenticity and pure musical skill. Over the next two decades, Killswitch Engage rose to the top and delivered eight studio albums, three live ones and played every festival that exists.

Their Australian fans have been there from the start. The bands first foray down under was way back in 2004 opening for Soilwork and Anthrax which marked the start of an enduring love affair with their army of fans. An army who have not experienced Killswitch Engage live in Australia for 6 long years. Their last visit in 2018 alongside Parkway Drive and Thy Art Is Murder!

While the band are here in September opening for the one and only Iron Maiden in monstrous arenas, they are also going back to their roots with three very intimate shows in Frankston, the Gold Coast and Newcastle that promise a visceral, sweat-drenched experience.

Supports for each show include the recently reformed Feed Her To The Sharks for Frankston: Dark, oppressive death metallers, Descent for the Gold Coast and hardcore merchants Dropsaw will play in front of their hometown crowd in Newcastle.

This is your chance to see Killswitch Engage up close and personal, a rare opportunity to witness one of metal’s greatest in an intimate setting

Tickets On Sale: Friday 21st June, 12pm [AEST]

[Review] Cancer Bats @ Crowbar, Sydney 16/06/2024

Last night, Cancer Bats tore up Crowbar Sydney with their epic Bat Sabbath set, blasting Black Sabbath covers that had the whole place partying. They didn’t stop there, they kept the vibe alive with a DJ set afterward, keeping everyone hyped. Tonight, they’re back to deliver their original Cancer Bats tunes, promising another night of hardcore mayhem. Kicking off the evening are local legends Irken Armada, Bare Bones, and FANGZ.

The air outside may be crisp, but Irken Armada didn’t take long to heat things up inside, setting the stage with their hungry energy, this reviewer will be checking much more of their material thanks to tonight’s show. Following them, Bare Bones, a band with twelve years under their belt, brought their homegrown metalcore to life. Their set, filled with metal riffs and a tight-knit camaraderie, had the crowd buzzing, even catching the attention of Liam from Cancer Bats who was seen headbanging at the sound booth. So far the calibre of supports is seriously impressive.

As FANGZ took the stage in matching dungarees, the rooms energy stepped up a notch. Tracks like Self Medicate and chants of “F*ck What You Say” had the crowd singing along, and the band’s infectious enthusiasm made it feel like a wild Friday night. Bass player Jameel chugged on the Cancer Bats cold brew coffee, (available at all shows in collaboration with Aussie brewsters, Bellmott). All four members on stage joining in on backup vocals added to the unified sound as they were all smiles throughout their set.

With the stage bathed in red lighting and Metallica’s for Whom The Bell Tolls seeping through the speakers, Cancer Bats stormed in, opening with Gatekeeper, and wasting no time jumping into fan favourites like Trust No One and Lonely Bong, the latter featuring a guest appearance by Drew Gardner from local madmen Totally Unicorn. The setlist was a relentless barrage of hits, with Pneumonia Hawk, and The Hoof, Lucifer’s Rocking Chair, which was no doubt a crowd favourite. Each of the four band members never standing still all had their own personality, the energy on stage was contagious! Liam took a moment to thank the crowd and the venue for the last two nights, reminiscing about their 17 years of touring Australia. He mentioned that the last time they played here five years ago, they were joined by the same supporting acts, Bare Bones and FANGZ, making this reunion feel even more special.

Midway through the set, the crowd was treated to the anthemic R.A.T.S followed by the killer riffs of Hammering On, touching on the doom/stoner/sludge style of Cancer Bats. The intensity never wavered as the band launched into Harem of Scorpions and Sorceress, each track delivered with more energy and gusto than the last. True Zero’s powerful lyrics “May I remind myself who I really am” resonated deeply as Liam pointed and sung along with many members of the crowd.

As the night drew to a close, the batty Canadians didn’t let up. They tore through the heavy bass intro of Winterpeg, masterfully led by master of the low end, bassist Jaye Schwarzer, followed by Bricks & Mortar, and an intense cover of the Beastie Boys’ Sabotage before closing with the fan-favorite Hail Destroyer. I was devastated when their sound was cut at Download Festival UK last year during Hail Destroyer, now my thirst finally quenched.

Cancer Bats left the stage, leaving the crowd sweaty, exhilarated, and eagerly anticipating their next visit already. Drummer Mike Peters jumped down to the barrier to shake hands and exchange sweaty hugs to top off an already amazing night. Tonight’s show was a testament to the band’s enduring appeal and their ability to deliver an energetic, unforgettable live show.
The tour stops into Canberra, then Melbourne for two shows, before wrapping up on Adelaide on June 21st. Do not miss this tour!

ABOUT DYLAN GOSSETT:

Dylan Gossett is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Austin, TX. Dylan began writing and recording music during his early teen years using Garage Band on his mother’s computer. Throughout high school, college at Texas A&M, and a job at Formula 1 Racing, music remained Dylan’s true passion. Inspired to finally release music by a new generation of singer-songwriters he saw emerging online, Dylan began posting videos of his songs in April 2023 — immediately, his music struck a chord with a global audience.

Dylan released his first single “To Be Free” (entirely self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) on June 30th, 2023. Shortly thereafter, he teased a snippet of what would become his next song and breakout viral hit “Coal.” The video instantly took off, gaining over 1 million views within the first week. He quickly got back into his bedroom and created the song from scratch before releasing it on July 27th, 2023. Since its release, “Coal” has garnered over 275 million global streams, received Platinum Certifications in Canada and Australia and a Gold Certification in the US, debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and the Official Singles Chart Top 100 in the UK, reached the Top 5 on the Country Radio Chart in Australia, and continues to climb the Spotify US Top 200. The New York Times called “Coal” “one of the year’s best country songs,” and Billboard declared, “‘Coal’ and ‘To Be Free’ position Gossett as a formidable, heart-on-his-sleeve singer-songwriter with immense potential.”

In October 2023, Dylan released his highly anticipated debut EP No Better Time (also self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. The EP received a slew of critical acclaim from The New York Times, Billboard, Grammy.com, Atwood Magazine, Music Row, Holler Country, Country Central, and more. He followed up No Better Time with his sophomore EP Songs in the Gravel this past March, which he wrote all four songs for and self-produced two. On this project, he also teamed up with notable producers Eddie Spear and Ian Fitchuk on two of the tracks. Rolling Stone praised the EP and Gossett, saying, “Even in country’s current era of overnight success and viral sensations, Dylan Gossett stands out.”

On the touring front, he embarked on his first-ever headline tour this past spring, which saw him perform in cities across North America, London, and Dublin and sold-out immediately upon on-sale. Soon after, he announced his summer and fall 2024 headline run in the UK, Europe, and North America, which includes sold-out shows at Dublin’s Vicar St., London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, New York’s Irving Plaza, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and more. Not to mention, earlier this year, he supported Noah Kahan across Australia and Morgan Wallen at Houston’s Minute Maid Park, as well as opened for Wyatt Flores and Brent Cobb on their fall 2023 tours. He also has been performing at a slew of festivals this spring and summer, including SXSW, Hangout Music Festival, CMA Fest, Tortuga Music Festival, Two Step Inn Festival, and more.

DUNE RATS + FIDLAR AUSTRALIAN TOUR

TEAM UP FOR A TRANSPACIFIC MATEFEST AUSTRALIAN TOUR – AUGUST / SEPTEMBER

Presented by triple j

Fan Presale from 9am (local) on Thursday 20 June

General Public on sale from 9am (local) Friday 21 June

While playing the UK together last year, DUNE RATS and FIDLAR found themselves sitting backstage drinking warm ales, talking about releasing their new albums (more on that below), and how much they wanted to keep the party rolling! Thankfully for Aussie fans, those chats have become a reality!

“The FIDLAR / DUNIES relationship has honestly been a touring brotherhood that has seen us ping pong all over the world. It’s been the best part of a decade playing shows together that started when they first came to Australia doing venues half the size of the ones we are playing on this tour. Showing them the Aussie diet of beer and BBQ’s plus a bit of surfing and partying meant that when we wanted to tour the US, they bundled us into a van and spent 3 months seeing the States – from Gator Back scratchers in Florida to the bright lights of New York City. We went to the UK last year to play shows together and that’s where this tour came to fruition. Can’t wait to show them how crazy it is to play in Australia this time round, will definitely fit a few snags in too” – DUNE RATS

“The Dunies are like your favorite cousin that you only get to see every couple of years. You’ve known them forever, you like them more than some of your other cousins, you crack each other up, get into trouble, have a few heart to hearts even….when we get together…it’s like a psycho little family reunion!!! Truly kindred Ledge Lords!”FIDLAR

So, fire up Australia! Brace yourself for the ultimate transpacific matefest hitting our golden shores this August and September. DUNE RATS and FIDLAR are teaming up once again for a tour that promises to be nothing short of epic! This time around the venues will be bigger, the crowds will be wilder, and the vibes will no doubt be off the hook!

Tickets will be in hot demand, so fans are urged to register at dunerats.tv for pre-sale access. The fan pre-sale will commence at 9am local time on Thursday 20th June with general onsale 9am local time on Friday 21st June.

While you’re at it, pre-order a copy of Dunies upcoming 5th album ‘If It Sucks, Turn It Up’, the band’s most adventurous musical statement yet. It finds them evolving their sound and honing their melodic instincts across a diverse range of styles, all delivered with the energy and infectious humour that is unmistakably Dunies. The album features the singles ‘Be Like You’, ‘Solar Eyes’ and current tune – ‘Cheapskate’.

And you’d be mad not to pre-save the new FIDLARalbum ‘SURVIVING THE DREAM’ which will release on September 20th!
