AMY SHARK Announces Mammoth 42 Date ‘SEE U SOMEWHERE Australia Tour 2022’

Fresh off her Cry Forever arena tour, ARIA award winner and alt-pop singer-songwriter, Amy Shark has today announced she’ll be hitting the road for a mammoth 42 date regional tour of Australia across May, June, July and August this year, presented by triple j, Handsome Tours, Select Music and Rage More.

With one show still remaining on her national run (Perth’s RAC Arena set for May 13), Amy Shark will now bring her critically acclaimed Cry Forever and Love Monster albums to regional fans right across Australia on her See U Somewhere tour. The tour will kick off at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on May 19 before taking in a further 9 dates in WA (supported by Dulcie), and will then move through NT (supported by Prayer Corby), NSW (supported by Adam Newling), ACT (supported by Adam Newling), VIC (supported by Yorke), SA (supported by Jess Day) and TAS (supported by Tyler Richardson), then heading north for 7 shows in her home state of QLD (supported by Cult Romance), finishing up at Tanks Arts Centre in Cairns on August 29.

Tickets go on sale at 10 am local time on Wednesday 30 March from www.amyshark.com.

“I’m the happiest when I’m on stage performing and I can’t wait to travel further into Australia where I’ve never been before, to explore some of these towns and meet everyone, it’s going to be a fun one.”

After bursting onto the global music scene in 2016, Amy Shark’s 6 x Platinum single Adore put her on the map as one of Australia’s most formidable emerging songwriters. This was followed by APRA award-winning (Song Of The Year) 6 x Platinum and number one Australian airplay chart hit, I Said Hi and the 2019 3 x platinum single Mess Her Up. Shark’s debut/breakthrough #1 ARIA album and Platinum-certified LOVE MONSTER was recognised in 2018 with four ARIA awards (Album of the Year, Best Female Artist, Best Pop Release, Best Producer [Dann Hume]) and was nominated for another five. LOVE MONSTER went on to become the highest-selling album by an Australian artist for 2018. Not one to slow down, even in a global pandemic, 2020 saw Amy release her ARIA award-winning, 2 x Platinum accredited single, Everybody Rise, which is nearing 37 million streams globally and spent 12 weeks in the top 10 Australian airplay chart. Amy’s latest album, CRY FOREVER was her second #1 ARIA debut holding the top spot for two weeks consecutively. Shark teamed up with blink 182’s Travis Barker on Gold accredited single C’MON and global superstar Ed Sheeran to co-write platinum single Love Song’s Ain’t For Us featuring Grammy award-winning artist Keith Urban. Today Amy has amassed 798 Million combined global streams.

Thrilled to be performing such an epic run of shows around Aus, and showing her endless gratitude for the huge love from her regional fans, Amy enthuses, “I don’t know when I’ll get the chance to do a huge Australian run like this again so if I’m coming to your town, you are mine that night! No excuses.”

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 am local time on Wednesday 30 March, for tickets and further information, head to www.amyshark.com

Thomas Headon announces headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth & Brisbane

TOURING APRIL/MAY 2022

• The British-born, Melbourne-raised poster boy of indie pop returns this April/May!
• Tour dates include first ever performances in Perth and Brisbane
• Brand new EP Victoria set for release Friday 11 March
• Tickets on sale Monday 7 March via frontiertouring.com/thomasheadon

Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring are delighted to welcome back ‘Clean Me Up’ and ‘Grace’ breakout star Thomas Headon, the 21-year-old set to perform four special headline shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane in April/May 2022.

With his first two EPs reaching over 40 million streams and a fanbase of more than 400K on TikTok and 100K+ on Instagram, Headon’s intimate, diary entry-esque songwriting has made the former busker one of the hottest new acts on the planet. November 2021 saw him sell two nights at London’s iconic 1000-capacity venue Heaven… which his mum finds pretty mad. (“After watching me busk for years, she can’t believe people pay to see me now.”)

Returning for his second tour down under, Headon will also appear on the line-up of the just-announced Groovin The Moo festival. “I really like playing live, where all the attention is,” says the singer. “The fun part is meeting people afterwards, I know the feeling of meeting your favourite person, I just can’t believe I’m that for other people.”

Melodic Magazine
‘Thomas and his two-piece band put on an incredible performance, which had the entire crowd dancing and singing along’
Gem
‘A stage presence that made it seem like the stage had always been [his] second home.’

Music lovers can catch the indie-pop star at Perth venue Jack Rabbit Slim’s on Thursday 21 April (his first ever show in WA); Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday 26 April; Brisbane venue The Zoo on Thursday 28 April (his debut performance in that city); and finally at Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on Sunday 1 May.

Frontier Members can access our Pre-sale, which kicks off on Thursday 3 March (11am local time). Tickets to the general public will then go on sale Monday 7 March (11am local time) via frontiertouring.com/thomasheadon.

Having signed a major label deal with Warner Records, brand new EP Victoria is scheduled for release on Friday 11 March (pre-order HERE). Featuring five tracks including ‘Nobody Has To Know, ‘Strawberry Kisses’ and ‘How Do I Know’ – the latter filled with beachy chords and confusing feelings of lust – Headon reckons his latest songs are all about channeling honest memories and evoking the euphoria of first-time love. “This EP is different because I wasn’t afraid to put more of myself in it,” Headon says.

Affectionately nicknamed ‘Disco Tony’ by his fans (or so apparently – he likes to change the nickname story every time he’s asked about it), Headon first rose to fame with his debut EP The Greatest Hits, which has gained over 27 million streams to date and quickly established him as the poster boy for Gen-Z angst thanks to his open and vulnerable lyrics about secret teen-flings and falling in love. His sophomore record, The Goodbye EP, saw cuts ‘Loving You’, ‘Cut and Bleach My Hair’ and ‘UrbanAngel1999’ penned almost like a journal entry, as Headon navigated a new life in London – young love, making friends, and life in lockdown.

Prior to live music and fame, Disco Tony was inspired by artists like Ed Sheeran and 21 Pilots – who were relatively unknown until their skyrocket to fame – by covering songs on his YouTube channel where he quickly amassed a flock of woozy-eyed fans. Now, with nearly three extended plays under his belt, Thomas has received international acclaim being named by the Official Charts Company as an artist to watch for 2022 and MTV as an artist in the spotlight. He was also a triple j Feature Artist in 2020 with them labeling him as an ‘impressive force in pop music.

Headon started playing guitar at 11, but his first live music gig was a regular busking stint on Phillip Island (VIC) where he quickly gained the confidence and lust for playing in front of live audiences. Not even 10 years on and he’s performed sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and London, as well as one of the UK’s most notable music festivals – Reading Festival 2021. It was there that he met Norwegian pop star Sigrid who invited him to join her on tour later this year, with a show at the 12,500-seat Wembley Arena.

Fall in love with Thomas Headon and his sun-inflected sound when he returns home for his biggest Australian tour yet!
