Get your motor running with the classic rock stylings of Sydney’s Edgecliff and their brand new tune Running On Empty. Running On Empty is a raw and riveting peek into the band’s forthcoming debut EP Uproar, which will officially thunder into the world on Friday December 2. The band will also christen their new single with two shows in Cobar on Saturday 5 November, with an official EP launch party set to take place on Friday 7 January 2023 at Sydney’s Factory Theatre.
They recently told us who their top five AUSSIE INDIE ROCK BANDS are and why.
VIOLENT SOHO – These guys are people we look up to greatly in the Aus music scene. We are always blown away by their live shows and their ability to capture a mosh pit and send them wild. Definitely the kind of energy we’d love at our shows.
STICKY FINGERS – Sticky’s a band that has connected with us all throughout our teenage years. They bursted into the scene with a unique interpretation of indie rock that impressed everyone. Their catchy melodies and vocal layering has always stuck out and definitely had an impact on our own song writing.
OCEAN ALLEY – We’ve been following these lads for years now and they are big influences of ours. They all grew up in the same area as us with similar backgrounds which makes it very inspiring to watch them achieve everything they’ve achieved. We’ve also been lucky enough to have their producer Callum Howell produce all of our music!
TAME IMPALA – Because Kevin Parker’s a God! The man is a musical genius and has achieved things in his career that most could only dream of. His music is on a level of its own and continues to blow us away.
DOPE LEMON– We love ourselves a bit of Dope Lemon. When the suns shining and you’re at the beach with a beer in your hand, they’re always our go to. They’re music never fails to put a smile on your face.
Running On Empty is out today, Friday November 4.
