Interview with Stix Zadinia (Steel Panther)

Heavy metal legends set to thrill Aussie 'Fanthers' with tongue-in-cheek musical anthems and
signature humour when they hit the shores later this year.

“Panther Panther Panther, Oi Oi Oi!!!  It’s that time once again, Steel Panther have stolen their mom’s credit cards and bought flights to Australia. On this tour Down Under, we are planning on rocking you so hard, that you will need to make a doctor’s appointment to fix all of the organs that will explode from the deep, penetrating joy of partying with these American heavy metal legends and world-class athletes.”

The planet’s most notorious, hilarious, and downright outrageous metal band, Steel Panther, are
excited to announce the Australian leg of their riotous On The Prowl World Tour. After a monumental
run of US and European dates, America’s greatest musical export will bring their live show to
Australian cities this October.

With a reputation for over-the-top performances and bawdy humour, the band are set to deliver a
series of epic shows kicking off at Metro City in Perth on October 18, before hitting AEC Theatre in
Adelaide on October 21, Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on October 23 and Brisbane’s Fortitude Music
Hall on October 24, rounding off the tour in Melbourne at Margaret Court Arena on Saturday 26
October.

‘Fanthers’ can get their hands on presale tickets on Thursday 13th June at 10am local time at
steelpanther.com, and general sale is from Tuesday 18th June at 12pm local via teglive.com.au.
For the uninitiated – Steel Panther was formed in 2000. Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicentre for
rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, they have established themselves as the world’s premier
party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks.

Steel Panther have released six full-length studio albums, sold out shows across the world, achieved
platinum-level YouTube status, and appeared on high-profile television appearances such as Jimmy
Kimmel Live, Larry King Now, Fox NFL Sunday and as semi-finalists on the 2023 Season 18
of America’s Got Talent. The quartet — Michael Starr (lead vocals), Satchel (lead
guitar), Spyder (bass), and Stix Zadinia (drums) — reach another level altogether on their sixth
full-length album. Released in 2023, On the Prowl is a self-produced record, and namesake of their
world tour, that includes singles “Never Too Late (To Get Some Pussy Tonight), “On Your
Instagram,” Friends with Benefits” and the German chart topping smash, “1987.”
Steel Panther’s On The Prowl World Tour has been a runaway success globally, currently making its way
through Europe and heading back the US for final dates before trekking down under for Australia to
join the fun. With their unique blend of humour, musicianship, and lowkey controversial presence,
Steel Panther continues to redefine rock. Get ready, Australia – Steel Panther is coming, and it’s going
to be one wild ride!

TEG LIVE’S ‘OUT 2 LUNCH’ FESTIVAL DELIVERS MASSIVE $50M BOOST TO GOLD COAST ECONOMY

On Saturday 4 May 2024, Event Promoters TEG Live made history as 30,000 fans attended FISHER’s inaugural Out 2 Lunch Festival on Coolangatta Beach, Gold Coast, making it the biggest beach party ever staged in Australia.

Selling out in minutes, electronic music fans travelled from across the Nation to attend this exclusive Queensland-only Event, injecting more than $50 Million into the local economy.

As a direct benefit of Out 2 Lunch Festival, over 200 local Businesses in the region were engaged in the planning and delivery of the Festival. Furthermore, accommodation was sold out across the Gold Coast, which benefitted from the substantial additional visitation that came from interstate, intrastate and international Travellers.

Out 2 Lunch Festival was a massive operation for TEG Live and created over 2,000 jobs to bring the event to life. TEG Live worked closely with the City of Gold Coast, Queensland Police and transport and traffic management consultants to develop a comprehensive plan which ensured a smooth experience for patrons, staff, visitors to Coolangatta and local residents.

TEG Group CEO Geoff Jones said:

“TEG is delighted with the inaugural Out 2 Lunch Festival, and it was great to see the economic impact that the Festival had on the local Community.

“This was no easy feat, as the planning and logistics required to deliver the Event were extraordinary, particularly as this was the very first time this many people attended a staged Event on Coolangatta Beach.

“We would like to sincerely thank Team FISHER, the City of Gold Coast, the World Surf League, Southern Gold Coast Chamber of Commerce, Coolangatta and Greenmount Surf Life Saving Clubs and the many, many other Partners and Stakeholders who helped TEG bring this epic event to life.”

In addition, at FISHER and his wife Chloe’s request, $1 from every ticket sold was donated to the Starlight Foundation. A further $20 donation was required for the Pink Elephants Support Network for those punters attending the Festival via guest listing or complimentary tickets. In total, $35,320 was raised for the Starlight Foundation and Pink Elephants Support Network.

Being a hometown show made the Event even more meaningful for superstar DJ, Paul Fisher, who said, “That was so special… honestly one of the best days of my life … 30,000 of us going mad on the beach in my hometown!!!!! This is what dreams are made of. Thank you so much for being a part of it.”
