FINNEAS Announces Sydney & Melbourne Headline Shows

Academy and GRAMMY® Award-winning artist FINNEAS is pleased to announce he’ll return to Australia in February 2023, to perform two exclusive headline shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday 1 February, and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Tuesday 7 February. The Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer was recently announced on the line-up for Laneway Festival ’23, with headline dates presented by Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring.

It’s been a huge 12 months for the prolific FINNEAS, following the October 2021 release of Optimist, his debut studio album, which earned a GRAMMY® nomination for Best New Artist. That nod takes his nominations to a career total of 14, thanks to FINNEAS’ extensive and chart-topping songwriting and production work for sister Billie Eilish.

With his classic, timeless pop structures and cutting-edge sound, these shows are not to be missed. Tickets go sale Friday 18 November (12pm local time) via frontiertouring.com/finneas. Frontier and Chugg Members can access the Pre-sale, which starts Wednesday 16 November @ 12pm (local time) – see website for details.

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of his debut LP, October 2022 saw the release of Optimist (Deluxe) available now at https://finneas.lnk.to/OptimistDeluxe – which features all 13-tracks from the original album alongside four brand-new versions – the triple j playlisted ‘The Kids Are All Dying,’ ‘Only A Lifetime,’ ‘Love Is Pain,’ plus a cover of The Beatles’ ‘The Fool On The Hill’, new recordings captured live at the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London.

Having spent much of 2022 conquering the globe with Eilish on the singer’s Happier Than Ever world tour, FINNEAS also performed with his band at Coachella in April, and was honoured by TIME Magazine in their annual ‘TIME100 Next list’ – which recognised 100 rising stars from across various industries and the globe. He also released singles ‘Naked’ and ‘Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa’.
