Sir Cliff Richard Announces Australian and New Zealand Tour

British music icon Sir Cliff Richard announced his highly anticipated live tour for Australia and New Zealand 2025. These shows offer a rare chance to witness one of Britain’s most celebrated performers in a live setting.

Next year will mark 12 years since Australian and New Zealand audiences have seen Cliff Richard live in concert, with the tour beginning in Perth, before making it’s way to the East Coast, and then onto New Zealand. Fans will be treated to a setlist packed with timeless classics, including hits such as “Living Doll,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” “Devil Woman,” and many more. Known for his energy, charisma, and enduring stage presence, Sir Cliff continues to capture hearts and inspire audiences as he has done across the eight decades.

As one of the greatest hitmakers in British music history, Cliff Richard has sold in excess of 250 million records worldwide, securing his place among the best-selling artists of all time. He remains the only artist to achieve UK Top 5 albums across eight consecutive decades, a remarkable feat recognised by the Official Charts Company. FINNEAS (USA) announces Australia and New Zealand headline shows | JANUARY 2025

In exciting news today for fans, Ten-time GRAMMY® and two-time Academy Award winner FINNEAS is set to return Down Under in January 2025 with For Cryin’ Out Loud! : The Tour, four exclusive shows in Auckland – marking his first solo show in New Zealand – Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Presented by Frontier Touring and Live Nation, the tour news follows the release of his highly anticipated sophomore album For Cryin’ Out Loud! (Interscope Records), due out October 4.

Renowned for his timeless pop structures and cutting-edge sound, FINNEAS has captivated fans worldwide thanks to his rich, warm melodies and experimental expertise. No stranger to our shores, these will be his first live dates in the region since February 2023, a visit which saw him selling out two Sydney and Melbourne shows in mere minutes and conquering stages nationwide as one of the headliners of Laneway Festival.

The multiple GRAMMY® and Academy Award winner pushes his creative boundaries even further on his second album, the follow-up to acclaimed 2021 debut Optimist. Steering things away from the solo bedroom producer mentality and to a classic studio and band environment, For Cryin’ Out Loud! sees FINNEAS deliver his most uplifting body of work to date. Born out of live studio sessions in Los Angeles, the producer recorded his new songs live with close friends and peers, as heard on the album’s emotive 10 tracks.

ABOUT DYLAN GOSSETT:

Dylan Gossett is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Austin, TX. Dylan began writing and recording music during his early teen years using Garage Band on his mother’s computer. Throughout high school, college at Texas A&M, and a job at Formula 1 Racing, music remained Dylan’s true passion. Inspired to finally release music by a new generation of singer-songwriters he saw emerging online, Dylan began posting videos of his songs in April 2023 — immediately, his music struck a chord with a global audience.

In October 2023, Dylan released his highly anticipated debut EP No Better Time (also self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. The EP received a slew of critical acclaim from The New York Times, Billboard, Grammy.com, Atwood Magazine, Music Row, Holler Country, Country Central, and more. He followed up No Better Time with his sophomore EP Songs in the Gravel this past March, which he wrote all four songs for and self-produced two. On this project, he also teamed up with notable producers Eddie Spear and Ian Fitchuk on two of the tracks. On the touring front, he embarked on his first-ever headline tour this past spring, which saw him perform in cities across North America, London, and Dublin and sold-out immediately upon on-sale. Soon after, he announced his summer and fall 2024 headline run in the UK, Europe, and North America, which includes sold-out shows at Dublin’s Vicar St., London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, New York’s Irving Plaza, Los Angeles’ The Fonda Theatre, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and more. Following Paul Klein’s recent traffic accident that forced LANY to postpone their a beautiful blur 2024 Australia / New Zealand tour set for this June and July, today they announce rescheduled dates.

Starting in Perth on Tuesday 17 September, LANY will then head to Asia for tour dates there before coming back in October to play in Auckland, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane.

Yumi Zouma will stay on as main support on all tour dates with the exception of Perth.

New Zealand’s finest rock exports, Ekko Park, have released, Phase Her, the final song from their new EP, Let’s Talk About Last Night… The End Of The World out today!

The rousing Phase Her is the final piece to the bands new EP. The swirling opening guitar sounds & lamenting vocals draw you in before Jessie Booth unleashes her guitar through a soaring soundscape unlike anywhere Ekko Park has ventured before.

Phase Her completes the four song EP which features first single, Outrun The Rain, a track that spent 15 weeks in the NZ Top 20 and the infectious pop punk of Today’s My Day which performed just as well. Both songs are juxtaposed against the hauntingly autobiographical story from frontman Joe Walsh, The North.

It’s been quite a ride since Ekko Park released their last full length album, Horizon, in August of 2020. The album featured the ridiculously catchy, up tempo Uh Oh and smash single
All Eyes On Me which featured guest vocalist Grant Nicholas of Welsh indie rock giants Feeder and received radio play the world over!

Off the strength of the record, Ekko were nominated for Best Rock Artist at the 2021 Aotearoa Music Awards! The band recently welcomed new guitarist, Jessie Booth, who is renowned for being part of female rock band She Loves You and is a touring guitarist for Elemeno P. In 2022 the band released The UnMute EP, featuring unique themed artwork from New Zealand tattoo artist, James Dean.

Kiwi thrash titans Just One Fix have unleashed, Thorns, the third single from the forthcoming EP, ‘Submit or Death’

After delivering two monstrous tracks, Your Own God Now & Gods & Devils, Thorns is an offering with a darker turn.

With its tribal beats and doom laden opening riff, the idea for the song was born from the pages of Mark Lawrence’s Broken Empire trilogy.

“Thorns” deals with the reality that we are all broken, twisted and shaped by our worst experiences and become who we are because or maybe in spite of them. As a result, people tend to mask themselves to who they think the world wants them to be.”

Tracing that idea with a structure of groove laden guitar, pulsing bass and a throbbing beat that hypnotically weaves into the ear captures the imagination.
