Hollow Bones Pt. 1
Crisp bass from start to finish throughout this track. This will help take you back to the 60s with Jays vocals threw out the song and that embedding scream toward the end of this track you will find yourself being trapped in a blast from the past as the beat of the drums continues to carry you into the next tracks at just under 3 mins long this track has addictive blues melodies and deep riffs.
This track is groovy as hell with Scott’s incredible Riffs. This alone helps make this a great track deep bass and drum sounds makes this more than worth its weight in gold. This album just gets better and better with each song. Tied Uup may seem to have a much slower pace but it highlights Buckanan’s vocals the whole way through.
This track is the stand out for me, such an amazing and catchy as hell track, the bass and guitar work are outstanding and I’m finding myself lost for words with this track in a very good way. Everything shines on this track. I feel like I’m hanging with a mobster gang waiting for a meeting with the Don. The chanting that comes in at the 40-second mark reminds me of something you would hear on an underbelly TV show. The vocals in this track have reached a real high, right through this track.
This track has that rock and roll feeling, both the guitar and vocals match beautifully. But what else could we expect from this band?! Polished vocals great beats incredible guitar work. This track is very classic rock and roll it does have a slow tempo towards the end but still remains fluid.
My advice to anyone listening would be to just simply let go and enjoy this song. This is a wonderful harmonizing blend of each member coming together vocals are strong and you find it hard to not get into this one as both guitar and bass are extremely strong in this song. The drumming is very relaxing and more than enjoyable for a chilled out song. I found this song hard not to sing along to and found myself going back to it more times than I can count.
A much softer song slowing it completely down to other tracks we have heard before on this album. Full of emotions that will draw you in with an eerie feeling of being left behind even after this track is over.
This track has a really nice bluesy feel to it. It’s incredible how Jay can do this with his voice it really shows his skills as well as the other members to help carry this the whole way through the song to the very end. As speed starts to take over switching back forth between both slow and fast throughout the song.
Hollow Bones Pt. 2
This track brings us the big riffs and strong vocal tones this is a band that gets told to bring it and that’s just what they do without disappointment. This track continues to bring that heavy clean feel this album has been filed with lots of blues and hard rock.
I love this album and its strong solo acts the powerful vocals and the strong guitars and drums and bass all the way through. It’s an album worth having in your collection.
All That I Want
This is the end of the album and this track is more than just a tearjerker it has a beautiful melody and you will feel every emotion this track has to offer. It is a great song, almost like the band is saying goodbye to the person listening to the album it’s very touching and very fitting for an end song.
This album is an amazing example of the best that modern rock has the offer with amazing riffs from both guitars and bass. Fun beats and great vocals make this album stand out from your normal rock and roll band. Thanks heaps to Rival Sons for the incredible chance to check out this album and I can’t wait to see what you bring us next.
