International quality heavy rock/metal at its finest and I’m proud to say, home-grown talent to boot. Far superior to any of the groups previous work and surely a maturing for the band’s sound.
A veritable rollercoaster of blistering guitar riffs and melodic accompaniment perfectly placed during each track. Percussive perfection is a term I chose to describe the controlled and alternating drum work.
The lyrics are performed beautifully from balladesque beauty through to demonic growling and once again, perfectly blended into each track to provide the listener with tremendous vocal homogenisation.
Each track carries the same ’tone’ and influences become apparent, however simultaneously each subsequent tracks possess a unique quality from the previous. Something fresh and interesting in each. On some occasions a vocal blending and a musical twist on others, and with a few tracks such as Alive, a few spins are required before deciding what unique quality is your favourite. The aptly titled Alive throws the listener this way and that with ferocious eloquence and with careless abandon I decide it’s a most enjoyable ride.
Holding Fear speaks to us all in one way or another. Name your cliché, apply it to a point in your own existence or if you prefer, just relax back and enjoy. Doubtless this track will provide soundtrack to points in many lives and I hope TUTV are extremely proud of that.
From start to finish this is a thoroughly enjoyable album with a prodigious musical quality and a fresh sound sure to provide the group with the catapult required to ensure a long and prosperous career.
Destined to be a crowd pleaser and optimistically the tracks of choice for film and television production.
