STEEL PANTHER Announce New 2022 Australian Tour Dates with Airbourne

After two long years of on-again, off-again, more on-again, more off-again announcements, the world's most beloved big haired heavy metal outfit Steel Panther have officially confirmed new dates for what is set to be the wildest, wettest, dirtiest, hardest, heaviest most rocking heavy metal tour to land in Australia.

Having previously announced shows for 2020, and then 2021, Steel Panthers forthcoming Australian tour will now take place in October 2022, and will also feature support from legendary Victorian outfit Airbourne, who will be replacing Sevendust.

After blazing through Europe and rocking 100,000 strong soldout crowds together at gargantuan festivals like Hellfest, and Download, we’re finally bringing the mega Hard Rock & Heavy Metal party of the year down to Oz!  If you love POWER CHORDS, POWER DRINKING, and POWER ROCKING then YOU ARE INVITED to the Airbourne and Steel Panther POWER PARTY!!  Rock you HARD in ROCKTOBER!!”Airbourne

In addition to hitting massive venues across the country with the Victorian band, Airbourne Steel Panther will also be turning their Brisbane show into a mini-festival, featuring Dead Letter Circus, Devilskin, Lagerstein, and Bare Bones!

The ‘HEAPS & LOADS’ tour marks the largest venue that Steel Panther will have ever played in Australia. Due to growing demand every time they return down under, mixed with countless rave reviews, the Californian outfit will be landing in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne for a handful of enormous shows!

For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is comprised of Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), and Stix Zadinia (drums). Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with five full-length albums, touring across the world, platinum-level YouTube status, and a #13 debut for the latest album Heavy Metal Rules on the ARIA charts.

Rolling Stone avowed, “There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip,” while Metal Sucks declared, “Steel Panther’s concept is genius…their songwriting is…preposterously snappy – and relatable.”

CROSSFAITH (JPN) Australian Tour With Special Guests DREGG

Japanese genre-blenders CROSSFAITH are thrilled to announce their return to Australian shores. That’s right, their Atlas Of Faith Would tour will be hitting the east coast in October with special guests DREGG.

“We had so many great memories from festivals such as UNIFY, Soundwave and als supporting ‘The Amity Affliction’ to ‘Bring Me The Horizon’ and ‘In Hearts Wake’, but the only thing that we’ve never done over there is the headline tour.

The time has come to do it! This tour is a part of our 15th anniversary, so you guys can expect that we will play songs from our each record. Make sure you get your tickets and bring the MAYHEM!

See you guys in da PIT!” says the band.

After forming in 2006, CROSSFAITH released their debut album The Artificial Theory For The Dramatic Beauty’ in 2009 followed by The Dream, The Space (2011), Apocalyze (2013), ‘Xeno’ (2015) and Ex Machina (2018). Each one saw the band blend their love of punk rock, metal and electronic music in daring new ways.

DREGG make powerfully energetic music, driven by themes of fierce individualism, with a sound that hungrily consumes metal, hardcore, and rap, only to heave it back up in a colorful rainbow of bombastic brutality and iconoclastic absurdity, lovingly fed to the audience like mother birds. The Melbourne, Australia fivesome is thrillingly provocative, occasionally disturbing, and filled with hip-hop swagger.

Live Nation pre-sale tickets on Sale: Wednesday 20 July, 10am until Thursday 21 July 10am local time.

THE BLACK CROWES Announce Australian Tour

THE BLACK CROWES have today announced two Australian headline shows in Sydney (13 November) and Brisbane (16 November).

To the delight of fans, the reunion will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the band’s 1990 breakthrough album Shake Your Money Maker. Show-goers can expect to see the album played in its entirety along with other classics.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday 22 July at 1pm. My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the My Live Nation presale beginning 12pm, Wednesday July 20 until 12pm Friday July 22.  For complete tour information, visit: livenation.com.au or blackcrowes.com

In 1990, when journalists were lamenting the death of rock, as cheesy pop and hair metal dominated the charts, Atlanta’s Black Crowes gave the genre a swift and much needed kick in the ass with Shake Your Money Maker. Fueled by singles “Jealous Again,” “Twice As Hard,” “She Talks To Angels,” and the break-through cover of Otis Redding’s “Hard To Handle,” the band immediately took the rock world by storm, topping Rolling Stone’s “Best New American Band Readers Poll” in late 1990.

The Black Crowes went on to release eight studio and four live albums, selling in the tens of millions along the way; they sold out shows around the world; had legendary guitarist Jimmy Page join as a member; got kicked off a tour with ZZ Top for insulting the sponsor; got screwed by bad record deals; got married and divorced, fought amongst themselves and against the rest of the world. In other words, they’ve done everything a legendary rock group should do.

Don’t miss The Black Crowes November 2022 headline shows!

He commands a large and loyal fan base, who finds deep, meaningful connections within the universal themes of his music. With nearly 3.5 billion listens worldwide, keshi has gone on to become a streaming force with his latest debut album, GABRIEL, and acclaimed trilogy of EPs — skeletons (2019), bandaids (2020), and always (2020).

Released March 2022 via Island Records, GABRIEL is keshi’s magnum opus, where for the first time, the 27-year-old singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist finds himself as the main character of his sonically articulated world.

GABRIEL was made in one summer between Houston, where keshi is from, and Los Angeles with Baltimore producer and songwriter Elie Rizk, who co-produced the album with keshi. Until GABRIEL, keshi has been a self-reliant artist, who wrote, produced, engineered and played all the instrumentation on his projects. His initial success includes making his first Billboard appearance when skeletons EP hit #59 on the Top Album Sales chart. With GABRIEL, keshi reached #4, which became the highest charting debut album from a new artist in 2022. On Spotify alone, keshi has generated 5.5 million monthly listeners and his single, ‘GET IT’ landed on VIRAL 50.

An artist known for his captivating stage performances, keshi sold out his 2022 North American and European headlining tour, HELL/HEAVEN, within minutes during the artist’s pre-sale, leading to additional dates and larger venues. For the U.S and Canada alone, keshi sold out 40k plus tickets across the 30 dates, with venues ranging from 1,000 to 2,000 capacity. KESHI ANNOUNCES HELL/HEAVEN AUSTRALIA & NEW ZEALAND TOUR DATES FOR NOVEMBER 202

Rising singer, songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist keshi has announced Asia-Pacific dates for his HELL/HEAVEN tour, including his first shows in Australia & New Zealand this November. The highly anticipated announcement comes off the back of the release of keshi’s debut album GABRIEL (out now via Island Records) and a sold-out run of Europe & North America tour dates.

Tickets go on sale at 11am, Friday July 15.

My Live Nation members can secure tickets during the pre-sale which commences at 11am on Thursday July 14, and concludes at 10am on Friday July 15.

GABRIEL is a record that turned out much more personal than I intended from the beginning,” keshi shared. “It ended up being a means for me to process the experience of having transitioned from a much less public life to another I’m having a little more trouble navigating recently. I thought about success, purpose, family, pressure, and failure; how time is my only commodity and how sex is just skin; how little I care for what people have to say and how important it is at the same time. I was reminded how fun making music is supposed to feel, and that it’s just as much listened to as its lyrics are heard. It’s an album that I hope is candid, varied, and one you can come back to again and again.”

GABRIEL was made in one summer between Houston, where keshi is from, and Los Angeles with Baltimore producer and songwriter Elie Rizk, who co-produced the album with keshi. The tour will commence in Brisbane at Suncorp Stadium on January 29 before heading to Accor Stadium, Sydney on February 2, followed by Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on February 7and concluding in Perth at Optus Stadium on February 12.

Red Hot Chili Peppers commenced their global stadium tour last month in Spain following the release of acclaimed new album Unlimited Love, with stops in London, Paris, Dublin, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and many more.  The tour marks the return of guitarist and all-round cosmic musician John Frusciante to the group, as they perform their career-spanning hits alongside tracks from their new album.

Joining the Australian tour is multiplatinum selling superstar Post Malone. Among the best-selling music artists globally with over 80 million records sold across four career albums, Stoney (2016), Beerbongs & Bentleys (2018), Hollywood’s Bleeding (2019) and Twelve Carat Toothache (2022), Malone has won 10 Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, one MTV Video Music Award, and has received six Grammy Award nominations. Red Hot Chili Peppers have soundtracked successive generations as not only one of the bestselling acts in music history, but also one of the biggest streaming rock bands in the world today. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame® in 2012, the award-winning Los Angeles quartet—Anthony Kiedis [vocals], Flea [bass], Chad Smith [drums], and John Frusciante [guitar]—have collected 6 GRAMMY® Awards, sold 80 million albums, generated 5 billion YouTube views, and gathered 22 billion Spotify streams, averaging 21 million monthly listeners on the platform.

Rolling Stone cited Blood Sugar Sex Magik, Californication, and By The Way on its coveted “500 Greatest Albums of All Time,” while “Under the Bridge” landed on the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” in 2021. In addition to claiming a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, 8 MTV VMAs, 5 EMAs, 4 American Music Awards, and 3 BRIT Awards, they’ve notably notched the most #1 singles of all time at Alternative Radio with 13 #1 hits. They’ve also performed to tens of millions worldwide, headlined Coachella and became the only band ever to sell out three nights at Hyde Park in London—moving over 200,000 tickets. Adorned by anthems such as “Give It Away,” “Under the Bridge,” and “Breaking the Girl,” the diamond-certified Blood Sugar Sex Magik celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2021.

In April Red Hot Chili Peppers unveiled their new album and twelfth full-length offering, Unlimited Love [Warner Records], their first recording with guitarist John Frusciante since 2006 and first with producer and longtime collaborator Rick Rubin since 2011.  Their creative collaboration with Rubin spans legendary albums, including Blood Sugar Sex Magik [1991], Californication [1999], By The Way [2002], and Stadium Arcadium [2006].

Now the band’s seminal lineup returns with their new studio album, Unlimited Love and a record-breaking Global Stadium Tour, kicking-off a brand new generation of fans for the legendary group.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers announce second Melbourne show.

GEORGE THOROGOOD & THE DESTROYERS are excited to announce the first Melbourne show on their Good To Be Bad Tour is now sold out, adding a second show on Saturday 29 October at The Forum.

Tickets for the new show go on sale 12pm, Friday July 1.

My Live Nation members can secure tickets first during the exclusive pre-sale which commences at 12pm, Thursday June 30, and concludes at 11am, Friday July 1.

For complete tour, ticket and VIP Experience information, visit: livenation.com.au.

Celebrating 40 years of ‘Bad To The Bone’ this September, iconic rock legends George Thorogood & The Destroyers make their very welcome return to Australian shores this October and November for shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra, with regional shows in New South Wales and Queensland.

For the past 45 years, it’s been very good to be George Thorogood & The Destroyers. And in 2022, their Good To Be Bad Tour: 45 Years Of Rock will prove why like never before.

Since 1976, they’ve sold over 15 million albums, built a catalogue of classic hits, played more than 8,000 ferocious live shows, and become mainstays of radio, TV, and stages worldwide for more than two generations. Through it all, they’ve remained one of the most consistent – and consistently passionate – progenitors of blues-based rock in pop culture history.

For Thorogood and his longtime band – Jeff Simon (drums, percussion), Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone) – the power to rock audiences has been both battle cry and creed from the beginning. ‘Since I was 17,’ George says, ‘All I wanted to do was see how far I could go with my guitar, putting my own spin on music I loved.’

But it’s live on tour that George Thorogood & The Destroyers continue to flip the switch nightly. Delivering a gut-bustin’, guitar-wailin’, face-meltin’, fiery-tempoed, take-no-prisoners, good old-fashioned lunch-bucket rock & roll show that includes their signature hits ‘Get A Haircut’, ‘I Drink Alone’, ‘One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer’, ‘Move It On Over’, ‘Who Do You Love’ and the definitive badass anthem ‘Bad To The Bone’, along with several surprises.

To co-incide with the tour Universal Music will be releasing the Australasian-Exclusive souvenir edition of The Original George Thorogood, which brings together the best from the rock and roll heart and fevered brain of George Thorogood and his unstoppable, long-time band, The DestroyersThe Original George Thorogood will be released on CD (including Australian exclusive tour slipcase) and digitally.

Built around Thorogood’s fiery guitar skills, explosive performance style and a blistering take on blues rarities, George Thorogood & The Destroyers indeed remain unstoppable in 2022. Is it still good to be bad? George says ‘You bet it is! We’ll always be the baddest band in the land. Expect our best on this tour because that’s what you’re gonna get.’
