Spent your youth moshing to Grinspoon? Reckon the Js were never as good as when they were spinning Killing Heidi and Eskimo Joe? Missing holding a frothy in a cup with the Summer sun shining down as you nod your head to a bit of Jebediah and Superjesus? Hotter Than Hell has heard your cries and is bringing back the old-skool summer festival vibes across three states this summer.
Bringing together Australia’s monsters of rock, Hotter Than Hell features a rotating lineup of alternative royalty, hitting Townsville, Gladstone, Brisbane, Ipswich, Adelaide, Melbourne and Geelong in massive outdoor events at some of the country’s most unsuspecting venues and all for just sixty bucks (presale price).
Hotter Than Hell’s aim has been to bring these highend events to places that may not usually be on most artists touring routes or a destination location for new festivals.
Organisers have said “the intention of Hotter Than Hell has been to bring back the nostalgic feel of some of your best festival memories similar to that of Homebake and Livid, but more importantly, bringing it to thriving areas that don’t get spoiled with great touring music usually”.
Lose control to the ‘Just Ace’ Grinspoon, get ‘Down Again’ with The Superjesus, slip along with Jebediah’s ‘Teflon’, Throw on your ‘Mascara’ with Killing Heidi, grab a drink ‘In The Summertime’ with Thirsty Merc, ‘Never Have So Much Fun’ with Frenzal Rhomb, ‘Rip It Up’ with 28 Days and so much more.
The only thing missing is your wallet chain and fairy outfits.
HOTTER THAN HELL tix are on sale for just $65 with an exclusive early bird pre-sale from this Thursday October 12. Limited to just 1000 tickets per show.
