At this stage they did have some technical difficulties, but it didnt stop there… once reconnected the conversation went on….
Zero Hour is a dark eleven-track-groove monster with haunting melodies, huge guitar riffs, driving bass and pounding drums. Taking their inspiration from both classic metal acts like TYPE O NEGATIVE, METALLICA, DANZIG and BLACK SABBATH and eighties new wave bands like KILLING JOKE, SISTERS OF MERCY and GANG OF FOUR, DIABLO BLVD craft a unique sound ideally suited for these dark times. The perfect soundtrack to the end times. Together with renowned Belgian producer and artist Dag Taeldeman they managed to create a new sound on this album, which is mixed by Jay Ruston and mastered by Paul Logus (STEEL PANTHER, ANTHRAX, STONE SOUR). The mesmerizing album cover is designed by Hamburg-based artist and designer Hedi Xandt.
DIABLO BLVD (est. 2005) have released two albums on PIAS which made big waves in Belgium. Their third album »Follow The Deadlights« was released in May 2014 by Sony Music in the Benelux to huge critical acclaim with a top 3 charting. It got a full international release in January 2015, making DIABLO BLVD the first Belgian band ever to get signed to Nuclear Blast.
DIABLO BLVD embarked on an 18 month lasting European promotion tour that landed them support act duties for MACHINE HEAD, EPICA, ACE FREHLEY, QUEENSRYCHE and LIFE OF AGONY, for which they also did the USA support, including a number of festivals like With Full Force, Metal Days, Pukkelpop and Summer Breeze. They also organize their own metal festival Diablofest in Belgium where they give upcoming bands a platform to bigger audiences.
Now they are back with a new album that has a refined and unique sound. Humanity’s time is over, Zero Hour is here.
