Rock radio hit-makers Red Sun Rising return with the music video premiere for their first single, “Deathwish”, off the band’s forthcoming sophomore release Thread out on March 30th (Concord Music/Razor & Tie/Caroline Australia). Watch the apocalyptic video, directed by Brad Golowin – watch it below. The anthemic single is also available for on iTunes
Produced by Matt Hyde (Deftones, AFI, Porno For Pyros) and mixed by Jay Ruston, Thread continues to expand on Red Sun Rising’s concept of mixing different genres and influences to create a unique sound.
When asked about the upcoming album, lead singer Mike Protich stated, “This album feels like a rebirth. Although Red Sun Rising played 140 shows on our last tour, it was not until we made this album that I felt we became a band. The growth and evolution of RSR that you will hear in our sound and our songwriting builds on our ‘Thread’ mentality (songs that people can love and sing with us but don’t fit a mold). We aren’t chasing trends and never will.”
Red Sun Rising made headlines with their debut full-length album Polyester Zeal and earned their own piece of rock radio history with two back-to-back #1 hit singles off of a debut album on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart. This marked the first time in over a decade that a band has achieved back-to-back #1s on the Rock Chart with its first two singles, “The Otherside” and “Emotionless.” Adding to their radio success, the band was nominated in the “Best New Rock/Alternative Rock Artist” category (Foals, Kaleo, Nathaniel Rateliff, The Strumbellas, Red Sun Rising) for the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. RSR was also named New Artist of the Year at the 2016 Radio Contraband Awards.
Red Sun Rising is Mike Protich (vocals/guitar), Ryan Williams (guitar), Ricky Miller (bass/vocals), Dave McGarry (guitar/vocals)and Pat Gerasia (drums).

“RISE UP”, the first single off THE DEAD DAISIES’ new album “BURN IT DOWN” sets the scene for another huge year for the band. A massive, trailblazing beat, meaty guitars and a thundering vocal deliver a powerful, highly relevant message.
“RISE UP is a blistering old school Sabbath riff with angry lyrics about the state of the world!!! It‘s about the people in power that say they have our best interests at heart but don’t!!!! We need to “RISE UP” and let our voices be heard and tell them we want CHANGE and deserve BETTER!!!!!” – says vocalist John Corabi.
In line with the single release, the band is premiering a provocative, extremely visual video underscoring these very issues.
The album “BURN IT DOWN”, set for release on April 6th, 2018 via Spitfire Music/SPV, is a muscular tour-de-force, a tornado of pounding drums, pulverizing bass, screaming guitars and in-your-face raw vocals. Evoking the best of 70s Rock, with moments of Birmingham’s finest, blended with the early works of Boston’s best, “Burn It Down” will do just that: Burn down everything in its path until there is nothing left standing.
The Dead Daisies will embark on yet another massive World Tour kicking it off in April with shows in Sold-Out venues all over the UK, then seeing the band play packed houses in Europe before making their long-awaited return to Japan the USA and South America.
The Dead Daisies are: Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy), Deen Castronovo (Bad English, Journey) and David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).

Shinedown has announced the release of their sixth studio album ATTENTION ATTENTION out May 4th on Atlantic Records. Lead single DEVIL is out now with the official video. Directed by Bill Yukich (Beyoncé, Marilyn Manson, Wiz Khalifa), the visual for DEVIL is a dramatic and visceral introduction to ATTENTION ATTENTION, which is now available for pre-order here.
Deluxe album bundles are also available.
The 14-track album, Shinedown’s most raw and personal to date, is a mental, emotional and physical journey that follows an individual from life’s lowest lows to the highest highs as anxieties dissipate and demons disappear. The ominous album opener and lead single DEVIL is a rush of unpredictable rhythms and roaring guitars that sets the stage for what’s to come. The story that unfolds as the album progresses is a powerful and enduring statement about the resolve of the human spirit, our will to overcome struggles, and the importance of respecting and leaning on one another. On KILL YOUR CONSCIENCE, a percussive march and a snarling refrain are instigated by the pitfalls of social media. Elsewhere, GET UP is an encouraging lyrical ode set to lush piano chords that speaks to struggles with depression. The energized distortion of THE HUMAN RADIO is a rousing call to action to keep fighting together for survival and truth. Album closer BRILLIANT packs a punch as fears finally evaporate and strength returns. Given the deeply personal nature of the record, Shinedown went in-house for production for the time ever, enlisting bassist Eric Bass to produce and mix the album in its entirety. ATTENTION ATTENTION ushers in Shinedown’s biggest and boldest chapter yet, as they once again uproot convention and deliver a cinematic and poignant body of work.
Leading the charge for 21st century rock, multi-platinum, record-breaking band Shinedown – Brent Smith [vocals], Zach Myers [guitar], Eric Bass [bass, production], and Barry Kerch [drums] – has sold more than 10 million albums worldwide, has 11 US platinum and gold singles and four US platinum and gold albums, and averages more than 3.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify as one of the most-listened-to rock bands on the platform with over 600 million streams, contributing to their more than 1 billion total overall streams to date.
Attention Attention is the follow-up to 2015’s Threat To Survival LP which marked Shinedown’s third straight Top 10 debut on the Billboard Top 200, arriving at #5 while also debuting at #1 on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums Chart and bringing Shinedown‘s total count of US number one rock singles to 12 thanks to hits like Cut the Cord and State of My Head. Every one of the singles released over Shinedown‘s nearly two-decade career has ascended to the Top 10 on the US rock charts – a feat unmatched by any other rock band.
Psyche-shattering Australian shows announced.
On the back of their heaviest album to date, SEETHER are intent on blasting the roof off with equal measures of ferocity and purpose. This is a band that knows how to connect with an audience, whilst delivering all the blood, sweat and sheer musical brutality that transports fans to a state of nirvanic rhapsody.
SEETHER’s existence itself is an act of rebellion, weaponized to cut through the noise with truth telling clarity and undeniable authenticity. “We want to bring back musicality, playing loud, and the importance of having something to say that you can stand behind,” declares SEETHER front man/co-founder Shaun Morgan. “It’s about honesty in your music.”
SEETHER are not your bog-standard riff-mongers. This is a multiplatinum rock anthem machine whose live performances are armed with soaring guitars and monster melodies delivered with an atmospheric crunch that will leave fans blissfully drained.
As well as killer tracks from Poison The Parish such as “Stoke The Fire” and “Let You Down”, fans will be treated to veritable hit parade of classic SEETHER including “Broken”, “Fake It”, “Rise Above This”, “Fine Again”, “Gasoline” and “Remedy”.
With power and grace, these descendants of Nirvana, Alice In Chains and Soundgarden continue to create modern, urgent and memorable music fifteen years into an illustrious and highly successful career. Relentlessly hard working, creating something of value and meaning is nevertheless SEETHER’s north star. “Give something to people,” Morgan says. “Make people’s lives better in some way. That’s really the point.”
“uplifting and celebratory… Hands raised, mosh pits opened, and songs sung until voices ran raw, the occasion drew smiles from both band and fans alike. Masterful songwriting gelled with a sound that can either break your bones, or mend the heart, all married to a live performance that reaches right down inside whether you’re front row, in the shadows, or the rafters above. Seether prove, once again, why they are one of the most important hard rock bands out there today.” Metal Wani
Seether are Shaun Morgan (Vocals/ Guitar), Dale Stewart (Bass/ Vocals) and John Humphrey (Drums).

Norwegian black metal masters have postponed their Australian and Japanese tour dates until September citing personnel reasons.
Frontman Satyr says that due to personnel issues and logistics they have no choice but to delay the tour.
Satyr states “We had on and off-stage personnel dropping out on us at the last minute for this tour. We would have had to really compromise on the quality of our shows, which is something that we wouldn’t want to do when we go to Australia and Japan. It’s better for us to postpone and come back and do this properly. “
With the tour now in September, the revised dates are:
Tuesday, September 4: Capitol, Perth
Thursday, September 6: Max Watts, Melbourne
Friday, September 7: Metro Theatre, Sydney
Saturday. September 8: Transit Bar, Canberra
Sunday, September 9: The Triffid, Brisbane
ALL TICKETS FOR ALL APRIL SHOWS ARE VALID FOR THE SEPTEMBER DATES
Without any doubt, only one duo is able to evoke sinister settings like the world of bleak woods lurking behind Norwegian wafts of mist. And that duo is SATYRICON.
Formed in Oslo in 1991, the legendary SATYRICON made an immediate and enduring impact when they emerged from the flourishing Norwegian black metal scene. With their latest opus ‘Deep calleth upon Deep‘ released in September 2017 on Napalm Records, the masters Satyr and Frost properly dispense the darkest art of metal: The resulting album is erratic and destructive, in addition to being raw and pure. It plows. It’s progressive. It mounts an unapologetic sonic attack filled with black metal anthems.
Says Satyr “Back in the day, Australia was one of the first countries where people were showing a great deal of interest in what we were doing on the other side of earth, in Norway. With “Now, Diabolical” we finally got to experience Australia ourselves, and ever since it has been of our favourite places to come visit. Our fans there get what we do and they usually show up in great numbers. As for Japan, even now, the crowd in Tokyo and their warrior-like approach to watching us play, is something we use as a reference internally. Tokyo is one of the greatest places on earth for Satyricon to play while Osaka has been getting better and better every time. Going to Australia and Japan is bound to be some of the best stops on the World Tour.”
