Australia…Save The Date Because Good Things Are Coming in December 2018. Dates And Venues Are Revealed.

We’re about to put you out of your misery and share some information on what’s behind those mysterious street posters that have been spotted on the streets of Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. We’re thrilled to announce Good Things Festival, Australia’s newest music festival that will hit the east coast of Australia in December 2018.

Save the date as we reveal the dates and venues for Good Things Festival

Friday 7 December – Melbourne Showgrounds, Melbourne
Saturday 8 December – Parramatta Park, Sydney
Sunday 9 December – Brisbane Showgrounds, Brisbane

After days of teasing, we have officially announced the first band appearing on the lineup. We welcome Blackpool’s Boston Manor who will tour Australia for the first time.

Their second album, Welcome To The Neighbourhood, produced by Mike Sapone (Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Public Enemy), will be released on September 7 and is a soundtrack to disenfranchisement set in a fictionalised version of the band’s hometown. It inhabits an unapologetically bleak one, a world rife with poverty and drug addiction, boarded up shops and a population unable to escape a predicament they didn’t even know they were in.

The new single, Bad Machine has been released with an accompanying video directed and edited by the band’s very own Henry Cox and Tom Hancox in the role of DOP. It’s a very “film noir” look at their hometown of Blackpool which you can view below.

That’s not all, the entire Festival lineup will officially be announced on Thursday 23 August at 11 am AEST time, so mark the date in your diary as you won’t want to miss out on what we have installed for you.

In the meantime organisers will be announcing a host of bands in the week leading up, so keep your eyes peeled on www.facebook.com/GoodThingsFestival/ | https://twitter.com/GoodThingsFest | https://instagram.com/goodthingsfestival/

You won’t be disappointed as Good Things are coming.
