All We Are Announce Debut Australian Performance
Liverpool-based trio ALL WE ARE today reveal details of their first-ever Australian performance, announcing they will take the stage of Melbourne’s The Gasometer on Saturday 28th October. Tickets are on sale now.
Known for their psych-driven atmospheric shows and groove based anthems, All We Are deliver a killer energy the moment they hit the stage. They’ve been sharpening their dynamic live set with performances across the UK and Europe, from Glastonbury and Latitude Festivals to Germany’s upcoming Reeperbahn Festival, and have headlined a UK tour including a date at London’s iconic Moth Club.
Produced by Kwes (Solange, Kano, Loyle Carner), All We Are’s sophomore album Sunny Hills was released earlier this year and finds the band with a new sense of urgency and a new sound; one that takes in psychedelia, krautrock and post-punk.
“An energetic and electrifying post-punk soundtrack” – Uncut
“The Kwes-produced record is shot through with neon groove and laced with the duskiness of The Cure’s Gothic Trilogy.” – Clash Music
Whilst political, the 9-track LP also documents the emotional rollercoaster the three-piece have been on in the past two years. “We wanted to make music that reflected the changes that were happening around us”, says Richard. “These are hard times for everyone, Liverpool is no stranger to that,” says Guro. “…and musicians are a reflection of the places they draw their influences from”.
