Neck Deep Releases New Song and Music Video for “In Bloom”

Neck Deep are giving fans one last sneak peek into their upcoming album, The Peace and The Panic, with the release of their latest song and video for “In Bloom.” The track premiered yesterday on the Radio 1 Rock Show with Daniel P. Carter and is this week’s Rockest Record! “In Bloom” truly pushes Neck Deep further both musically and stylistically proving that they are multidimensional and maturing as individuals and artists.

On the track, singer Ben Barlow shares, “In Bloom was the very first piece of music we wrote for the new album and it kickstarted the whole creative process. Originally it was written to be purely acoustic, and over time we built it out into a full band song. In many ways it set the bar and tone for the rest of the album. It’s pretty down-tempo for us, yet it builds throughout and climaxes in one of my favourite arrangements we’ve ever created.” He continues about the visuals saying, “The video is pretty different too. In the past our videos have been pretty busy, so it was cool to strip it all back and work with more abstract imagery.”

“In Bloom” joins an impressive collection of singles and music videos from the upcoming album including Where Do We Go When We Go,” “Happy Judgement Day and the most recently released Day in the Life style video for “Motion Sickness.

The 11-track album, produced by Mike Green (Pierce The Veil, Paramore), is a meditation on the constant duality of life and the struggles that come with it. It comes blessed with an acknowledgement that seizing the day and having a laugh with your mates is important, but so is the personal growth that comes with pain and existential crisis. The Peace and The Panic is now available for pre-order through Apple Music or at .
